Looks like they are on the 24th floor now, with 12 more floors and the roof to pour, so roughly another 130' left before topping out.dweebe wrote: How much taller is it going?
Interesting angle. Hopefully in a few years there’s a large white 6-7 story apartment building peaking over the trees right in the middle of this photo.

Nice shots from all above. Thanks for posting. When finished this will be taller than the Park tower from your angle, Kansas. The finished building will be roughly around the current top of the crane.
Speaking of angles, I was very surprised by just how prominent this thing is on the horizon after crossing the PSB WB on 40. What a transformational project.
This has to be among the best designs under construction in the U. S. at this time. It's a design you'd expect to see in coastal cities or Chicago. It's coming together nicely.
Nice photos.
Nice photos.

This pic really shows how the solid metal areas will add a whole new dimension to this thing.
lol...I kind of like the way that Carlisle air barrier looks in the middle of the photo. The white / newsprint effect is kind of cool, almost like a waterfall if you squint a bit, and contrasts nicely with the smoky glass.framer wrote:This pic really shows how the solid metal areas will add a whole new dimension to this thing.quincunx wrote:
^^This building should be a great learning experience for Clayco. I doubt they have ever been GC on a building this complex. And maybe it will inspire Bob Clark to be a bit more adventurous in new development efforts.
It really does, especially when you focus on the third level of glass.urbanitas wrote: The white / newsprint effect is kind of cool, almost like a waterfall if you squint a bit, and contrasts nicely with the smoky glass.
Can't wait to see what's under that stuff.
The metal panel isn't there yet. I thought the panels might come in complete prefabricated sections, insulation and all, but if you look at the webcam footage from a few weeks ago, you can see them applying the insulation in sheets, and then the Carlisle air barrier over that. It was just something like 3 x 5 rectangles of paper-thin sheet. No idea how or when the metal panels will be installed.sc4mayor wrote:It really does, especially when you focus on the third level of glass. Very nice! Also makes it obvious how important that parking next door needs to start construction! Any reason to be hopeful?chriss752 wrote:
Well...then I guess I can't wait to see what goes over those sheets haha. I assumed there was some protective covering over them, but installation sheets make much more sense. Which I should have known...I sell them for a living haha.urbanitas wrote:The metal panel isn't there yet.
