They have picked up the pace, and appear to be pouring the 27th floor now - the top of the last 4-story tier. Just the two 5-story tiers left to go now. At this pace, they could have their topping-out ceremony before Thanksgiving.
^I don’t think what you describe there is the design. I believe it will be seven sections of four floors with one section of three floors on top.
That’s per both the One Hundred and Clayco websites for this project. Which have both been regularly updated over the course of its construction.
I guess we’ll find out for sure soon enough though!

urbanitas is referring to the Feb 2018 Rendering which is: 1 tier of garage, 5 tiers of four, and 2 tiers of five. Which is the rendering on the 100 website. My assumption is that this is the plan.
^And Clayco describes it as “Four-story tiers are stacked over the height of the tower.”
So certainly a lot of conflicting elements between all of the involved parties.
We’ll find out soon enough.

I don’t know anymore than you guys do but I was also under the impression that the last two tiers would be 5 stories each.
That was the original 38-story, 400' tower design. For whatever reason, StudioGang and Clayco have never updated the rendering or description on their sites. This is the most recent rendering (from 100 Above the Park ):wabash wrote: ^I don’t think what you describe there is the design. The most recent full floor poured is floor 26. There is a 6 story podium and there have been five 4 story segments on top of that. At 36 stories total, there are 2 more segments at 5 stories each left to go.
The core is currently at 28.

Took a short walk around Forest Park today. Got some photos of One Hundred from the area near Kingshighway. Also got confirmation that the core has passed the roof of the Chase Park Plaza making it the tallest building on Kingshighway. The first picture shows just how much we need Koplar's Tower now. Will help fill in the gap. At least you can see Citizen Park.

Then I went over to the Hill. These photos are from the US Bank parking lot. I need to get my better camera to this spot this week to get a picture. Pretty neat view.

Went digging around on the One Hundred website and found some new images and things. Neat rendering of the entrance.
+1
She's brilliant. It's a big deal this building is in STL. Archi-geeks will travel to see it. Honestly it's my favorite design by her firm and that's saying a lot. Aqua was a ground breaker. Vista is a stunner and also maximizes corner apartments on each floor with 9, but 100 takes that to a whole other level. I can envision archi-tourists flying into Yamasaki's Lambert, checking into Sullivan's Union Trust, walking over to Saarinen's Arch then a few blocks to see the start of it all at the Wainwright. Jump on Metro and finish up with Gang's 100 Building. Global level architecture is an important stamp on a city. STL is blessed to have these and a few others which are at that level.chriss752 wrote: Went digging around on the One Hundred website and found some new images and things. In the entrance rendering doesn't it look like those metal panels will have translucent lines ?
^I think that's just the garage screen. That's one thing I'm worried about; how will the garage turn out?

6 floors of garage
7th floor amenity
7x4 floor blocks
1x5 floor block at the top

So... does this mean the tower is now 40 floors? And it sounds like there will be one 5 floor tier.NewMidwesterner wrote:6 floors of garage

I’m confused more than ever.
It’s a great building but your getting ahead of yourself there.STLinCHI wrote:She's brilliant. It's a big deal this building is in STL. Archi-geeks will travel to see it. 36 floors total.
That would be 35 floors, as you have counted the amenity floor twice (it is the top of the podium and the first level of the first tier). Also, neither of the two renderings show what you describe, not that that is proof of anything on a project that has so few renderings...NewMidwesterner wrote: Sorry, my bad. It's:

Not really. It's 36. 7th floor is the top of podium. 8-11 is the first block of 4 residential blocks with 11 being balcony along with 15, 19, 23, 26, 31. And this info is from emails with Mac Properties since I'm moving in and figuring out which apt on which floor to take. Renderings can be inaccurate you know lol.urbanitas wrote:That would be 35 floors, as you have counted the amenity floor twice (it is the top of the podium and the first level of the first tier). ^So can marketing information.
Your maths still don't math. The 26th floor can't be a terrace level unless it is the top of a 3-story tier, which would look really odd if all the others are 4, and the top is 5 stories.
And if the 31st floor is a terrace, with a 5-story tier above that, then they would have to be counting the roof as the 36th floor, which is possible if the penthouse units are 2-levels, or there is a common area structure on the roof with elevator access.
