^^It appears as though the first level of panels is being installed.  May be quite awhile before we actually get a look at them though...  lol

One Hundred will look neat from today his perspective.

Studio Gang posted a fairly recent construction photo on their One Hundred page, so I guess they haven't forgotten about this project.  :)

It doesn't look like much from Art Hill yet, but . . . it will soon. :)

Should have shot these in the afternoon, with the sun behind the camera, but you get the idea:

^Great shots, Framer. Amazing how transparent the glass is from afar.

Poured floor 20 today. 16 left to go.

Core is at 22. Should see a jump tomorrow.

Here's a couple of my own snaps as I was in the area.

This last is the view from Art Hill. The impact isn't dramatic yet, but I think it will be. It should help to fill in the hole between Barnes and the Park Plaza nicely.

I may be misreading it, but it looks like some of the windows may be operable. That should add even more interest to the facade.

Pretty typical for residential even though people rarely use them. HUD and other tax credit programs usually require them (yes, I know this isn't HUD financed).

Fantastic shots both SP and Framer!  I can't wait to get back and photograph this thing when it's done.

Those views from the park are going to be awesome.

I was thinking the same thing. (Mostly because some of the windows on the lower glazed levels appear to be open in one of the shots.) The smaller inset windows look like they'll tilt out, if I'm seeing this right. No matter the financing, I expect that will be a desirable feature. Particularly since they're trying to go green.

^^There is this diagram on Studio Gang's One Hundred page that shows operable windows, and how the angled design promotes both daylight, shade, and "the opportunity for natural cross ventilation".

Also, they are currently installing several reddish hangman gallows on the second terrace.  Oxblue - 100 Kings Highway #1

Or, just possibly they are hoist frames for the first tier "articulated" panels.  :)

The crane has been jumped again. Definitely the tallest in the region now.

I think they’ll have one more crane jump before it’s topped out. This will be taller than I thought.

The crane is visible driving westbound over the Stan Musial Bridge. That was a nice welcome home sighting yesterday.

This thing will stand enough by itself it could, for a while, become the single most visible building in the area.

^ Isn't it going to be taller than the Chase? Walking down Euclid I already get a sense of its hugeness when I see it. Surprised me actually, since when it wasn't as tall it didn't strike me as particularly big.

Yes, it will be taller than the chase, by about 75FT or so. It is really huge and the recent crane jump gives you n idea of how tall this will really be. The crane jump currently doesn't account for how tall the topped-out building will be. This feels like it could be our version os a "supertall" since the surrounding buildings don't make that much of an impact. In the immediate area, we are going off of the Parc Frontenac and Koplar's parking lot. I can't wait to see it when completed.

People will travel here to see this building.  And take pictures and the such.  Iconic building number two for the Lou.

Drove south on Kingshighway from Delmar today - this along with the Park Plaza and Chase is starting to form a "Michigan ave style" street wall along Forest Park - Very impressive

Me too.  That stretch of Kingshighway definitely reminds me more of NYC than Chicago. The Park Plaza's art deco design is inspired by Fifth Avenue's (now-demolished) Savoy Plaza Hotel that overlooked Central Park, and the wedding cake Parc Frontenac and Montclair apartment buildings look as if they were transported from Manhattan.  It's easy to envision how high-rises would've sprung up on all sides of Forest Park had the city continued growing.
