To be honest even when Lemay opens chances are I will be downtown at Lumiere. I will go to River City when it opens of course to check it out but I would rather be downtown. Also I guess the cam is gone now.

I miss the cam so much, but I do drive by it everyday so I do get to see the progress. BTW, they have the trees in on the "deck" portion and there is light on the comb over....... the red aviation lights that is :D

Got a little info on the hole in the comb-over yesterday. Apparently they placed that section on a very windy day and it slammed into a billboard on the way up as they were lifting it into place. The source didn't know when or how they were going to fix it.

Lumiere (Casino only) will be opening December 19 - one of Ceo Dan Lee's daughters birthdays - (or so I was told).

He must like birthdays - Pinnacle's demolition of the Sands in Atlantic City was demo'd on Dan Lee's birthday.

AWESOME! I was hoping it opened before the new year. I'm turning 21 on January 1st, and you can bet your ass I'm going to *try* to make it over there to hit up the tables before the night is over.

Shocker...

It’s official: Hotel will be Four Seasons

Las Vegas-base Pinnacle Entertainment and Toronto-based Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts finally made it official. The 200-room luxury hotel at Pinnacle’s downtown casino, Lumiere Place, will be a Four Seasons.

The companies made the announcement Tuesday, ending months of speculation and rumor about the hotel.

LOL!

The St. Louis hotel is on the Four Seasons website. It's been listed for about two months.

That's part of what makes the whole announcement rather funny. There's also the constant mentions of For Seasons since the project started.

I guess the cam came back up for a hot minute, its about 12:30am right now. I pulled up the cam just in case and it was stuck on a night shot even when I click on Nov 06 at 6:48pm. I hope later today it will be working again.

A praying this successful so we can get a phase 2 popping off. Anybody know what a phase 2 would call for or if they had any ideas to have a phase 2?

^Read back in the thread a few months, its there, somewhere. Residential, retail, etc., but obviously nothing will be finalized until well after the casino is open.

I wonder if the webcam was down on purpose so they could test the combed-over streak lighting in relative privacy. :)

I'm so glad they have finally announced that the Four Seasons is coming to Lumiere Place. Having a Four Seasons will give downtown a much needed 'wow factor' and will be good for the convention center. It's too bad that they faced so much opposition in court, however they will be a big asset to downtown.

Crane is most deffinitely on the way down. Check out the 5:15 p.m. pic on today Nov. 8th on the webcam. I can truly say, that for the first time, I've been *impressed* by this project. Just imagine that same picture with a beautiful white comb-over :D .

Update from someone who took a tour:

Not a whole lot of info, but they said that the casino finishings are progressing nicely. And basically described it as being as nice as Vegas, basically a mini vegas (strip) casino.

Unfortunately pics from the tour can't be posted. Some MO Gaming rule?!
