Way more U-City residents shop there now then what was there before, like not even close. And unfortunately, shoppers (residents and non-residents) do like to see parking.

The really funny part is that the consultant hired by U City to study tax projections didn't even know that U City was a part of the county tax pool. So they're not getting nearly the revenue they originally planned on.

I know it just opened, but the Dierbergs was extremely busy the two times I went this week. The largest selection of kosher items I have seen locally and the Corner17 was packed with customers dining in and waiting for carryout.
Didn't seem to take any heat off the Brentwood Dierbergs when I went on Thursday evening. Went into the target today. Always makes me laugh when I am standing next to a Starbucks (target one) and look across the parking lot to see another Starbucks.

^I once planned to meet a friend at a non-Starbucks coffee chain in the apartment building where she was staying with a friend in Seattle. This was a bunch of years back, so I no longer recall the name. Well, she didn't live in that building and didn't realize there was an outlet in the building. And I hadn't noticed there was another one right across the street . . . but she had. I forget how long it took for us to figure out the mistake, but it was pretty funny afterwords.
anyone know what is going in in front of Dierbergs. Seems to be 4 spots, 3 are for lease but the 4th had red lanterns/light shade things and a drive thru. It looks somewhat familiar to me but I can't place it.
