I honestly thought the point of Spencer’s mailer was to highlight the fact that the roads weren’t clear for a long time, and that caused trash build ups, which is true irregardless of whether a dumpster is city owned or 3rd party.

Her mailer is a picture of a dumpster and a proclamation that Cara Spencer will clean up St. Louis.

It's totally about trash.

Right. I agree. My takeaway was that she’s trying to highlight all the impacts from the snow storm, a big one being the trash pileups due to the state of the roads. There is ice all around the dumpster.

I mean the snow storm fallout is the inflection point she’s trying center basically her whole campaign on.

Her relationship with Bob Clark is immoral and should be disqualifying.

Yeah this is pretty desperate and I say that as a Jones voter. Her campaign just isn’t gaining traction and this isn’t gonna help. The link to the website didn’t even work for me.

She took big money from the Robert Vitale, Louis Cella, and a Kemper matriarch. Someone with more time than me can look into their campaign donations from last year.

Bob Clark is a democrat but he’s not a progressive, possible Dixiecrat.

The thing is no one cares who anyone is taking money from and there’s no indication that Tishaura wouldn’t have taken it as well. This messaging just isn’t going to work.

Not sure of the specifics at all, but Spencer does have lots of special interest backers, some of which probably also backed Trump.

What the mailer says is that Spencer is being backed by people or organizations that also backed Trump. And the fact there was a Business Journal article about how many special interests were backing Spencer, it wouldn't shock me whatsoever that right-wing sources are supporting Spencer.
