My heart goes out to any pedestrians or bikers traversing that area once complete.

Not enough drive-throughs.framer wrote: ↑Jun 26, 2022Not sure if this is the latest (or final) plan, but this thing seems to be getting worse. What happened to the hotel? Senior living? Apartments?
All praise be to Autothena Parthenos, Autothena Nike, Autothena Americanus, our patron and our protector. (Well . . . the protector of those as fled the old city, anyway.)framer wrote: ↑Jul 11, 2022Seeing the new Costco gas station rising above The Wall makes me think of some kind of suburban acropolis.
What a nice front door. Nothing says welcome to chick-fil-a like a drive through line and garbage enclosure. I can already see people getting trapped because of long lines. Might be fun to watch.quincunx wrote:More drive to spots coming including a Chick-fil-A with a double drive thru. Just gross. U City should be ashamed of themselves.
238 parking spaces. 0.65 acres of buildings, 3.78 acres of pavement. Never fear there are rain gardens to collect the runoff.
Double drive thru encircling >3/4 of the site. Imagine 61 idling cars tacked within.
Reminds me of my favorite Starbucks in Affton:LArchitecture wrote: ↑Sep 28, 2022What a nice front door. Nothing says welcome to chick-fil-a like a drive through line and garbage enclosure. Starbucks is a really good guess.quincunx wrote: ↑Sep 29, 2022I'll go with a Starbucks and an Imo's.
I mean..I could see possibly, as an attempt at carrying the pan-pacific theme of Olive Blvd, a Jollibee drive-through coming in? At least from a strategy and marketing stand point that would be at the very least sensible and relevant enough. I doubt these developers will have that sort of foresight though.Tim wrote: ↑Sep 29, 2022Should we start betting on which other chain restaurants will occupy the other 3-4 currently proposed drive-thru spots (even more when this is fully built out, I'm sure)? Some form of bingo or fantasy drive-thru game?
