It's a good angle and a nice shot.
So, they started installing the metal panels 3 weeks ago, and appear to be maybe a bit more than halfway done with the top tier from the webcam today.framer wrote: ↑Mar 27, 2020Looks like they're installing the corrugated panels on the top tier, west facade.
I'm not sure what caused the delay, but at this rate, they will still be installing panels on Halloween...
Maybe they can still open the building tier-by-tier as they finish installing panels, but at a minimum they will have to have scaffolding and netting on the ground floor, and people aren't going to have use of their terraces.
My 100th post is on the One Hundred forum
These photos were featured on a real estate site that is selling a condo in the Executive Tower in the CWE. The Exescutive House condo tower is located on West Pine just a few blocks east of Whole Foods on Euclid. The views looking west show the One Hundred Tower. BTW: This condo is selling at 595,000 if you are interested.

^That's kind of a sleeper condo building of the CWE. Doesn't have the profile of a Park East of Park Plaza (probably partially because it looks like it could be a housing project), but the listings consistently look surprisingly nicely updated, the balconies seem sort of oversized in a nice way, many have incredible views (particularly to the East) and it's a 5 min walk down the street to Whole Foods.
^^That building always makes me think of George and Weezie Jefferson.

That really is an incredible and unparalleled view!
Of course. Just as they start the metal panel installation on the south side of the top tier they tilt the camera back down to the base...chriss752 wrote: ↑Apr 26, 2020From the webcam. Pool going in.

^^In that picture you can just make out that the corner unit on the 13th floor - directly above the unit with the two construction workers in it - is finished and has art hung on the wall. That's one of the two model units they used for the virtual tour. Here's the view from there:

The Arch views come through a bit better in the actual tour than this screen grab lets on.

It's the Continental Life building nearly 100 years later.wabash wrote: ↑May 01, 2020St. Louis' standard bearer of the 2009-2020 economic expansion.

^Ohh! Ouch! Crimminy, I hope it doesn't go that far south that long. Hard to know. It really might, but . . . ouch!
Are you suggesting that 60 years or so after opening, like the Continental Life building, One Hundred will be sporting a lot of unintentional, elevated landscaping?

^I'd guess that depends on how deep this recession goes. But it's not impossible. The track record of speculative high rise construction underway when economies collapse isn't the best. The Empire State (for many years derisively called the "Empty State Building") probably represents about the best case scenario, and Torre David in Caracas maybe the worst. The Continental is somewhere in the middle. I would hope 100 will fall a lot closer to Empty State than even Continental, but . . . it's going to be hard to know until the bricks quit dropping.

They've completed the install of panels on the highest segment and are now working on the first segment (lowest) which appears to be moving at a much faster pace than the top segment. They may be able to button this thing up much more quickly than the top segment install would've suggested.

^Good! That makes it more and more likely the worst case is that it leases a little slowly.

Big question I’m trying to come up with is there going to be a crown or parapet that’s going to cover the mechanicals? Or are we getting a beautiful building with the equivalent of buck teeth at the top???
They've bumped out the move-in dates by another 2-3 weeks:wabash wrote: ↑Apr 03, 2020Looks like the move-in dates have been bumped out by about a month (3 weeks for the top floors). The website now shows:sc4mayor wrote: ↑Jan 13, 2020It also looks like the floors will lease a bit staggered. 7-14 will be available by July 15th, 15-27 on August 17th, and 28-36 on September 7th.
Floors 7-14: August 15th
Floors 15-27: September 16th
Floors 28-36: September 29th
Floors 7-14: September 1st
Floors 15-27: October 9th
Floors 28-36: October 16th
Anyone happen to get a shot of the B-2 over One Hundred today?
