Some new interior and exterior photos (including some amazing shots from the roof) on Nicki Dwyer's blog: http://nickidwyer.typepad.com/nicki/201 ... -site.html

I think the Orion turned out to be a great-looking building, and fits in really well with its neighbors.

this view will look a whole lot different once the demo and apartment project gets under way.

Good looking building, nice views North, nice views South, street-facing Whole Foods, unbeatable location, I can see why Mills named this one after himself.

^ Rumor has it that Kroenke is having a change of heart about Saint Louis and will build a glorious stadium/mixed-use center on his own dime called the Enos.

Shown above is the Euclid side of The Orion where Whole Foods will open May 4, 2016. Silverman half-jokingly said, "The reality is that most people will call this the Whole Foods Building." There will be patio seating on both Euclid Ave., above, and West Pine Blvd.

The permit has been approved for the Whole Foods buildout.

$3.5 million. This will be a nice store.

That's it. Thank you. I probably resorted to asking the tribe before an exhaustive search, but I agree; searching a key word seems to bring up nearly everything except what you are looking for.

Construction fence is down, and things are wrapping up. This building is really looking good. Too bad about the huge, blank wall facing north, though.

36 vacant/available apartments according to their website.
If they held true to 177 units, they're at 80% occupancy.

I walked by a couple weeks ago and some of the window papers were off. There is a lot of furniture in there (salad bars, seating, light fixtures etc).

I'm sure some of you have seen this on nextstl's twitter feed or Arch City's SkyscraperPage feed, but just thought I'd import it over here since I find it so horrifying. What the f    happened with the The Orion street elevation? This dumpster storage / loading area / patio furniture storage area / outdoor seating area or whatever it is (does anyone know what it is?) is just hideous and an affront to every pedestrian along one of the City's premier retail strips. I assume Whole Foods Market demanded/required it, but seriously, what a horrible solution to a problem and a black eye for an otherwise great project. I wonder if and how Park Central signed off on this.

Commercial businesses have to have a commercial dumpster with a private company (not city trash dept) so it's probably for that

And it could not be located in the alley with other dumpsters because.......?

(Maybe it's not a dumpster. We will find out in about a month )
