I'm looking forward to this getting started. I jogged by there this morning and looks like an earth mover is hanging out there already.

Just curious, does anybody know if they just towed all the cars that were illegally parked there or did they give them time to get away?

Did construction work on the site start yet? I never had a chance to walk by and see for my self.

I went past it today. It looks like they're starting site preparation. They've cleared the site of some of the parking lot pavement and overgrown grass.

I drove by today and saw that they have a big-ass hole in the ground. Lookin' good so far. Can't wait until the crane is up, especially when it's joined by the OPUS crane!

Just had a worrying thought. Has any one seen the rendering of the building's north facade? Will we be treated to an ugly garage wall visible from Lindell?
Hoping atleast the top floor apartments wrap around. They would have pretty decent views of the buildings on Lindell.

I'm sure the aesthetic design hasn't changed much, but the project will now be seven floors instead of the six in that rendering.

Wondering if any one could be kind enough to snap a picture of the progress for this out-of-towner.

Not much to see yet. Just an ever-enlarging hole in the ground.

If they dig deep enough, maybe they'll find a whole foods! I'll be really excited once it starts going up. In the meantime, the demolition of the hold Jewish Hospital and the old Forest Park Hospital building are well underway. The ruins of Forest Park Hospital especially is very prominent as you're driving west on 64.

^ It's just a HUGE hole in the ground 30 ft deep spanning the entire site. Not much to photograph, yet. Piles are being driven into the ground, so construction should soon start heading in an upward direction.
