after living with the properly sealed floor, i would do it again in a second. we've had spills (water, wine, paint) that wipes right up like it never happened.
i've had many people ask about it and look at it and have referred them to the guy who did it. it looks amazing.
A woman I work with swears she saw the Bankers display on TV somewhere. The problem is that she can't remember where it was. Anyone else see or hear anything?

Apparently the show was the Living in St. Louis show on Channel 9 over the weekend.
Anyway, I just noticed that some 3rd floor closings have started. Anyone else have their closings scheduled yet? I know Rob said he closes on the 30th.
I haven't heard of any closings on third floor after mine, although I'm sure they're scheduled. I did hear that one unit on third has already closed.
With two display units on third floor, I'd think it would take less than a month to get everyone in, so fourth floor should start before the end of July.
I have my final walkthrough on Monday (it was supposed to be this week but I'm in Indianapolis on business) and close a week from tomorrow (Friday). McGuire Moving & Storage will deliver all my belongings a week from Saturday.
For those of you that may have to store your belongings until you move, McGuire Moving & Storage did an excellent job and were very reasonable. They were totally professional: Called the day before the move to confirm the time and date, Kevin McGuire stopped by mid-morning of the move to check on progress and called at the end of the day to make sure I was satisfied with the move. The three guys that did the moving were professional and courteous and worked their butts off. They'll be the same ones to take everything out of storage and deliver it to my new loft. Just thought I'd pass along a good review to a company that deserves one.
i'm surprised that more units haven't closed. there's only 6 units that have been moved into. i figured that once they started closing, it would happen much faster. the first 5 units closed the first week and then just one since then.
it's also surprising that 3rd floor (from what i understand, 2 have closed but haven't moved in yet) has closed before all the rest of the 2nd floor (except the one that doesn't have a window because the construction elevator is outside of it.).
the bottom line is that i don't understand construction.
I just moved in on Saturday and am the first person on third floor. So far there are no noise issues at all, but we'll see once I have neighbors. I'm not expecting any problems from 308 as there's a 2' thick brick wall on that side. If I have any issues I think it'll come from 306 as that's a new wall. I'll keep you posted.
So far I'm loving it here in spite of the tons of unpacking I still have to do.
Again, for any of you using movers, I highly recommend McGuire Moving & Storage. They did a great job and were reasonable. I had my stuff in storage for two weeks and moved from a third floor walk-up, so this wasn't an easy move, but everything made it and the McQuire people deserve a little free advertising.
