It really looks great from the hospital side of Forest Park Blvd. I'll bet all the doctors over there are just drooling.

i stopped by the site today and it looks great! i saw a group of about 5 people looking at the "live well" board and they seemed amazed witht he project. I over heard them saying hey didn't know these kinds of projects were "going down" in the CWE. Im happy more and more people are beginning to notice the park east!

Ya this building will be really cool looking when finished. I wonder why the Park east tower website hasn't updated their pics of the construction yet.

^Because I'm doing it for them here. Most of the people that consistently look for updates are probably here anyway.

I didn't actually mean I was doing it for them. I was being facetious. I'm really doing it for all you guys that are out of town. Now if Opus wants to pay me to keep their website updated, I'll certainly do it.

BTW, the view from SLU is now even better since the tower crane was made taller on Friday.

Thanks a lot Matt. Your pictures really help us out-of-towners stay in touch with what's going on there.

Anyway, I received an email from OPUS today and they said they anticipate the first move-ins to occur as soon as September. They also listed 8 homes as remaining, although I have it on good authority the last penthouse will be sold next week, making it seven.

I also have a bird's eye photo that OPUS sent to me with the email but I do not know how to insert it here. Please tell me and I will do it straight away.[/img]

You can get good directions on how to post a pic in the forum if you go to the photography forum. There is a guide at the top of the page.

Great Pictures, I tried to catch them inserting another section, but I missed it. The building is really coming along, I think they're at 17 stories or so now, maybe 18.

Great pics Matt.

This tower, based on the finished product thus far, will add some gloss or sheen to the CWE/CC skyline because of the glass.

I keep thinking about standing just north of the Park East on Euclid, looking up at it when completed, and looking farther south, to the Barnes/Jewish addition of a couple years ago. I am imagining a very nice compliment between those two buildings.

I read in STL commerce mag that they are planning another 25 story highrise in the CWE that won't be as expensive as this one. Is there a thread about it?
