Club Amnesia has posted on their twitter account that they have officially closed. So long. Now residents need to be mindful who applys for a liquor license in that spot.
In related news, the Trupianos seem to no longer be involved w/ the late Il Posto Pizzeria. It's now B&T Pizza by Presto.debaliviere wrote:http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/govt ... 3dac8.html
Isn't that what it was before it became Il Posto? Does that mean they went back to serving the big NY style slices?innov8ion wrote:In related news, the Trupianos seem to no longer be involved w/ the late Il Posto Pizzeria. That was so much better than the disappointing Il Posto.

Simply amazing, and disgusting...

So I have this straight:
- Lure is closed and will remain closed.
- Amnesia is closed and will remain closed.
- The private party on site did not involve those who owned these clubs, that someone else (the building's management) had rented out these facilities for a private party.
- This private party had no alcohol served.
- This private party consisted of youths (under 21) only.
Different from the previous incarnations of the site, which was a liquor-serving night club for those of legal drinking age, managed by the Trupiano family. But, the landlords remain the same, right? What exactly was this party for under-agers on Washington Avenue on a Saturday night (maybe an after-party for a high school dance)?
Quid pro quo:
There's more young kids fighting each other, and shooting at each other, at (or proximate to) 1204 Washington.
