Fantastic! I look forward to it opening. How about making the patio non-smoking too? Unless you want cigarette butts on the ground.

From saucemagazine.com:

A chef for Fifteen

Tim McLaughlin, formerly of Red Moon and most recently chef de cuisine at Faust’s, has been hired as the executive chef for Fifteen, the restaurant/lounge concept from Cards center fielder Jim Edmonds and Mark Winfield at 1900 Locust Ave. Not much is known about the menu except that it was designed by chef/consultant Josh Roland and that McLaughlin will likely put his stamp on the food with a few tweaks. Winfield said that the project is on track for a Sept. 14 soft opening, followed by a few scheduled events and a public opening on Sept. 21.

Does 15 care to comment?

Sorry it has taking a little bit to responed but as some of you may have seen i have been a little busy with the construction. fyi are website is www.15stl.com it will be full with images after were complete with cons.
Ok, now you are just doing that on purpose - I hope. The rest I will assume are simply typos. Seriously, you should leave the information releases to someone with better, um, communication skills. This is obviously a pet peeve of mine, and I am not trying to get personal here, but if you communicate to potential employees and customers that way, I guarantee they will not take you seriously and/or you will lose business. Spellcheck doesn't catch everything.

On a related note, if you really plan to open September 21st, your website should be up and running by now. I can recommend some good pr and internet marketing people if you would like. Sorry, I'm just trying to offer some - hopefully - constructive criticism.

I noticed the mistakes, but didn't care. I'm going to judge how well they run a restaurant by how well they run a restaurant. I look forward to seeing 15 in action.

Is reddragon running F15teen? By the way, that's just damn hard to read. I will not lament the demise of restaurant names like this.

You guys should calm down on the spelling thing.

I would assume thats Mark Winfield. One of best guys

on the bar side of the world that you'll ever meet.

If Tim McLaughlin is handling the food side, you have

a real powerful combo. I can't think of a concept

that opened in town with two better guys. This place

might just be that place that gets good revenue on

both sides of the playing field.

I have to say one place that is doing serious revenue on both sides

of the field is Lester's. If they had more parking they would do even more.

Never been there, but I thought about it while passing the Clayton Rd exit from 40 last week. It's right there, correct?

That's great. The spelling is obnoxious.

Yeah. It used to be Blue. Now the whole plaza is called Lesters Plaza. Lester Miller bought the whole thing. Real good bar food (and I don't say that often). Rumor around town is that more locations are in the offing either in town or in other locales.

If you want to hear pre-opening information from pr drones... keep it up.

If you would prefer to hear it from an operations guy who is on-the-scene during construction... you might want to let go of the chat-board-as-a-potential-grammar-lesson thing. Just sayin...

^ It's not that I'm not grateful - it's just a suggestion. Sheesh - leave your sensitivities at the log-in!

Is Lester still considering the Hi-Pointe area? There are some GREAT areas in the city where he would do a killing! It's good that he seems somewhat cautious - his endeavors are succeeding wildly!

I'm not sure if that is even a rumor. I recall reading something about that in the Business Journal or someplace else. It's his business plan.
