Cess-sil or See-sil? That is the question. I'm still not sure how to pronounce F15teen. F-fifteen-teen?

My credit card company called to confirm the charge, and that's exactly how she read it back to me, my dear Innovate-ion.
For what it is worth, Cecil Whittakers on South Grand is poison. Last two times I ordered it I spent days on the thunderbucket with a brutal case of fire-mud. Never Again.

There's two on Grand. Don't go to the Shenandoah one.
I'm kind of partial to 'F-15 Teen!' Sounds like it would make a good Saturday morning cartoon.bonwich wrote:innov8ion wrote:Cess-sil or See-sil? That is the question. I'm still not sure how to pronounce F15teen. F-fifteen-teen?

most off topic thread ever... er... ok maybe plaze square..
One can never tell if the Plaza Square thread is on topic or not. And Jim won't be able to pilot an F15 right now as they're grounded.

That's because those idiots at Boeing don't know what they are doing!
I was picturing something more like a squad of renegade white suburban saggers, fighting authority as only they know how, and dispensing instant justice in their F-15s. Go F-15 Teen! What is the Edmonds tie-in you ask? They all wear mascara, of course.TheWayoftheArch wrote:Will Jim be flying the aircraft?
Jim Edmonds wears mascara? So will he be putting in a milk bar as well for his droogs?
Perhaps I was being too Dim, but I was implying that they were Orange.

Are they in the clock repair business? In other words, do they do clock work?

Why, yes. Yes they do. A bit ultraviolently though.
Yes, yes, I got it...even though I am not from your era. Apparently my wit was a bit too droog.
Ik ben droevig, mijn droge vriend. Ik spreek geen Nederlands.
(And I think I was eight when that book was written, so it's not exactly of "my era" either.

Have a lot of people been going to F-15-teen? Or, in other words, have they been getting enough of the "in out?"

So will Edmond's dedication to F15teen remain stalwart even if he's traded? Ref: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/w ... l?bcnn=yes

Let's see if a certain admin doesn't accidentally delete this post.
Had dinner last wee at F15teen. While the food was very good, the service needs a lot of improvement.
We had an 8pm reservation and we immediately sat. However we waited between 15 and 20 minutes for a server to come to our table or had our water glasses filled.
Not long after we received our menus we ordered a bottle of wine, an appetizer, salads and entrees.
We quickly received our appetizer: no wine. When the server came by to collect our plates we reminded him about the wine. He claimed the sommelier brought the wrong bottle from the basement and would have our wine out soon.
About 10-15 minutes later the salads were brought out by a different server: no wine. We ate our salads and never saw our "main" server. The busboy took the plates and not much later our server brought the entrees out. We asked about the wine and he flew to the back and very quickly the sommelier brought the wine out while the entrees got cold.
Due to the delays our dinner took close to 2 ½ hours. If F15teen is going to survive they’re going to need to improve their service. Such slow service is going to kill them.
BTW: Edmonds was sitting behind us at a large table with a number of people.
