Bless you, 8. (I'll even condone your alphanumerically idiosyncratic screenname.

Nice work, 60nw1ch.
Great. Now you've got me obsessed with the illegibility, at least in sans serif, of Liddelllll.

Since you do the restaurant critiques, does that mean you get to use a PD credit card? If so, let me know when you retire
I'll give Gus' Pretzels, Crown Candy Kitchen, Maurizio's Pizza, Red Robin, and Little Caesar's a new review once or twice a week

I've only heard it a handful of times, but I'd rather stab my eardrums with an icepick instead of suffering through that song ever again.
Great review as always, Joe!

You really need to get out more.
Little Caesar's? That's a joke, right? I didn't even know they were still in business.
STL is lucky to have such a good food critic. I always enjoy Bonwich's work.
Little Caeser's is good, man. Five bucks for a large pizza? Hell yeah.

Little Caesar's just opened a new location in Fairview Heights a couple months ago and opened in Carbondale when I was there. Their $5 pizzas are excellent... better than any of the other pizza chains (Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa's Pizza to Go, Papa John's, etc, etc)
CS, someday I hope to have the same tastes as you. And in living here 3 months, you'd think I would have tried out all of the local spots in STL, but surprisingly, I haven't. I want to grow up to be just like you

Little Caeser's is proof of the old adage, "you get what you pay for".

Actually, I think Little Caeser's is the exception to the rule!

I thought that was Imo's.

There's nothing right with it either.
It's OK pizza, but certainly far from the best in town.
I went and bought Little Caeser's last night to take home and watch the primetime football games. Their pizza is excellent. I'm sorry that not everything is up to your elitist tastes, CS.
^Yeah, I think its starting to make a comeback. I know that their's always been one in Belleville/O'Fallon/Fairview(don't really know which one, its where they all kinda collide). There's a new one in Collinsville Crossing and one by Edwardsville Crossing.
Don't know about Missouri.

What, you didn't have a Tony's or Tombstone in the freezer?

I agree with innov8ion. Pizza is a lot like sex, even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. Obviously there are places that make great pizza...
Lately, when ordering delivery, I've been opting for Cecil Whittakers, which is surprisingly good, and cheaper than Imos. It's surprising how expensive Imo's has been getting.

Well put. MattnSTL knows I'm a Cecil's fan. You can't go wrong with anything from there- their sandwiches are every bit as tasty as the pizza. Imo's is too inconsistent, and like you said, not exactly cheap for what you get. The worst pizza I've ever eaten came from Imo's near my house, and needless to say, I haven't been in a hurry to give them another shot. When I'm out and about and just in the mood for a slice or two, I usually wind up at Racanelli's or Feraro's.
And then there's always Black Thorn, but that's more of an occasional thing than the other choices for obvious reasons.
I haven't looked at the menu yet...does F15teen have any pizza on the menu?*
*Disclaimer- That's my feeble attempt to get us back to topic, even though this thread has been a great place to discuss fashion, movies, and now, pizza.
