Looking at the new Nashville construction photos, I notice the walkways are rather narrow like our dome, I guess to squeeze the square stadium into the space between the old stadium and the interstate highway. So the inside looks a lot like our dome. The roof looks low like ours. Turf fields and seats kind of look the same in every indoor NFL stadium. Big difference is the lightweight cable-stay translucent roof, and outdoor platforms cantilevered over the surrounding streets at some levels.
Translucent roofs are great for letting in the sun for football, but I'd expect their dome will host lots of country music shows. When I saw the Stones at our dome a fews years ago in September, I really liked that we could make our dome nearly completely dark when it was still sunny outside. They can't do that. Short of a new roof or hanging video screen, what would be an affordable enhancement that would bring our dome more in line with current stadiums? Outdoor terraces?
