For some reason I thought the east side of this still had a tower (or something 5-10 stories taller than the west side). I guess I missed it’s all the same now.
Looks like a protected pedestrian walkway is going in along Maryland.

No more buildings, beyond the Shanley, occupy the site now. Just busted up concrete and brick.

I once met Robert Thomas and Matt Tkachuk at Barcelona, glad to hear they are relocating. Solid STL spot.
One of the great things about the old place was the building was older and a bit raw, felt a bit like Spain. The open doors to the street were also great in good weather

^ Demolition is complete and excavation is well underway…should be relatively quick.
I thought about this today, one thing I noticed is that Forsyth Pointe’s cranes are basically in the path of the sidewalks on each side. Could that be it? Doesn’t make it anymore acceptable but could be the reason.

I can't wait to see what impact this project will have on downtown Clayton.
Between this, Forsyth Pointe, and the World News tower, I'm pretty impressed.
I always prefer the big projects to go to the city, but I kind of think it's time for someone to try a 500-foot tower with a rooftop bar/restaurant in downtown Clayton.
