I don't know about the terra cotta, but the wood floors and cabinets are being salvaged.
Response from WUSTL
Yes, everything than can be salvaged and reused/resold or saved for future WU use is being saved.
The two apt buildings on Delmar are gone.
Compare and contrast. U of Cincinnati's $80-million U Square. The project, which is further along in construction, is to have 161-units with retail, restaurants and office space at the University of Cincinnati. It is very similar to Washington University's $80-million Loop Living, which has a sleeker modern design.

^Not sure. It's a big hole. Parking ratio is 0.5/resident... which is about 300 spaces, accessed from a single entrance on Enright.
Parking for the retail spaces was to be provided by the U. City municipal garage a few doors down.

^ Right. I don't believe there will be any dedicated parking for the grocery.

The lease, apparently, has not yet been signed, though the deal is "98% done". It should be official in early May...leaving me to decide when to put something online.
OK - so I figure I'll post the story if someone guesses the grocer...and no lists or multiple posts here...One shot per forum member.
