So much potential! Look at the multi family opportunities on the greenway

My only nitpick is more street trees as they do this work

  2. Tower Grove Connector - wrapping up Vandeventer segment. Phase 2 construction to follow

  3. Market Street (Arch to Tucker) submitted for federal funding. Insight from Downtowners? (Tucker to City SC) before 2030 start.
  4. Spring I-64 Crossing breaks ground in 2027.
  5. Clayton Rd breaks ground before 2030.
  6. Metrolink ROW, connection to Foundry route being re-evaluated
  7. St. Louis Ave. - no date set, in planning.
  8. Forest Park Parkway (Grand to Compton) - unknown timeline (likely part of the Future 64 improvements).
  9. Washington Loop (added segment since Brickline inception) - unknown timeline

I played baseball at Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club as a kid. That was over 30 years ago. I remember the old Carter Carburetor factory. It's exciting seeing that this area will get some investment. Beautiful homes still on the surrounding blocks. A lot of multigenerational black families that own their homes and held on through decades of neglect.

Looking northbound on Grand just north of St. Louis Avenue. The greenway is on the west side of the Grand.

Alright hear me out.....lots of back and forth about N/S Metrolink, BRT, blah blah blah. What if we just run self-driving golf cart taxis on the Greenways.... 🤔 😅

Imagine what this city would look like today if they had finished all of these project 10 years ago

True. I just wish these timescales weren't so long. I feel my life ticking away waiting for this city to improve itself.

Should GRG put a new item up for a vote in the 3 counties to double the amount we pay into GRG?  If it lays out exactly how the new money would be spent and by what new timeline, I believe it would pass.  We keep voting to pass region-wide taxes for region-wide improvements.  Arch, GRG, MSD, metro link, Page bridge, etc.  We could write it to only be applied to the counties that approve, so if St. Charles county votes no, so be it.  They get the go-slow current timeline, whereas the county and city could double the timeline speed.

Why not? No ask, no get.

It would be great to see Jefferson County eventually added to the GRG system as well
