Don't forget that the Dome renovation proposal was so over-the-top that it would have meant 12-18 months of nothing getting booked into the convention center because so much work was being done on the sides that touch. Honestly, with this deal we probably would have still seen the Rams here. The Chargers and Raiders would have ended up back in LA in the joint stadium they were planning to build.
