CitiPark makes a whole lot of sense in my book. Mill Creek Park would be a good nod to the past though but I wonder how many people would really know what that means. Locals would probably be confused as well.sc4mayor wrote: ↑Oct 29, 2022^ Good point, I hadn’t realized that.
Honestly I think the best one I’ve heard so far is Chris’ CitiPark. They do have that campus in O’Fallon with some 2,400 employees…not far from MasterCard’s global operations HQ.
I still prefer to see them skip the naming rights and call it Mill Creek Park.
There are quite a few tickets left for the first match.
It's hard to tell exactly which tickets are listings from resellers, but the team may have priced this too high. All the $20 GA tickets are gone and all but a handful of the $35 seats. The cheapest pair available come to $58 each with fees.

You also have to wonder how many season tickets are held by real fans and how many are held by brokers/scalpers who are looking to make a profit?
It’s the same issue they’ve had at the new venues the Seattle Craken, LA Rams, LA Chargers and Vegas Raiders play at.

The way they limited how many season tickets you could get makes me think it would be hard for brokers/scalpers to get in on too many.dweebe wrote: ↑Oct 30, 2022You also have to wonder how many season tickets are held by real fans and how many are held by brokers/scalpers who are looking to make a profit?

What did they do, make you buy them in-person?jshank83 wrote: ↑Oct 30, 2022The way they limited how many season tickets you could get makes me think it would be hard for brokers/scalpers to get in on too many.dweebe wrote: ↑Oct 30, 2022You also have to wonder how many season tickets are held by real fans and how many are held by brokers/scalpers who are looking to make a profit?

In person and an 8 ticket limit.MarkHaversham wrote: ↑Oct 31, 2022What did they do, make you buy them in-person?jshank83 wrote: ↑Oct 30, 2022The way they limited how many season tickets you could get makes me think it would be hard for brokers/scalpers to get in on too many.dweebe wrote: ↑Oct 30, 2022You also have to wonder how many season tickets are held by real fans and how many are held by brokers/scalpers who are looking to make a profit?

Yep, drove by TQL Stadium in Cincy last month and was quite impressed. Like STL all 3 of Cincinnati's major sports stadiums are downtown or downtown adjacent (TQL is just outside of Over the Rhine). However if you compare the maps below you can see that if you want to walk between all of our stadiums you wouldn't have to cross any highways the way you would in Cincinnati. That being said I would love for one of our stadiums to have the river views Paycor and Great American Ballpark haveJJ Taino wrote: ↑Oct 29, 2022Cincinnati FC Stadium in my opinion is the best. Ours is ok, simple and best thing it was privately funded. But in looks Cinci ia just awesome, specially the outside LED is just unique.

Balkan will serve some sort of middle eastern role up at the stadium. TBH it’s pretty disappointing they won’t be doing Cevapi.

It didn't seem that way from the video City SC made with Balkan Treat Box for the City Flavor series on their YouTube channel.
Cevapi was prominently featured.

It’s just going to be the roll up. They had to make it specifically for the stadium because they cant have their stone oven that makes all their breads
Well, that's a bit of a disappointment. The wood fired bread is kind of their calling card, yeah?

Owner of Amsterdam Pub is hinting about a downtown location announcement

^As a second location, or an expansion? I can see how they'd want to be near the soccer complex, but I do like their current location.

Makes total sense. Anyone have any guesses where they might go in?dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Nov 03, 2022Owner of Amsterdam Pub is hinting about a downtown location announcement

Their picture they posted was from the rooftop of 2200 Locust. Curious if they will go for a rooftop concept or something cozier on the ground floor. Also hoping they can bring back The Dam burgers, my fiance has been inconsolable about their departure.
Either way downtown west is POPPING

I want to say they have them back at the Morganford location. I believe I had one when I watched our late season debacle.

The Dam spot got taken over by Sando Shack. Which is amazing, but I still miss the Dam

^^Not talking about the location, just the burger. I got a "Dam Burger" during the playoffs at Tres Equis, which has become effectively an extension of the Amsterdam Tavern.
