Oh I mean the LHM lots get a hotel. ✌
I guess I should have put /sarcasm instead of /s. I'm not one of the ones angry about the practice fields existing or not being free to the public. I'm also tired of the demands and unrealistic disappointments aired on here.dredger wrote: ↑Jul 21, 2022Dweebe,
First, they don't have too!!!
Second, They team itself even hasn't have had a practice on their own field!!!
Third, They can pretty much open it the public at anytime the future!!!
Can we all move on from Dweebe's point and give it a break for a while. I promise I will quit stating the same obvious point about LHM surface lots in return
I thought LHM is proposing that 250 unit building at Westport.
Maybe this is practice before the do residential in the big bad City?chriss752 wrote: ↑Jul 21, 2022I thought LHM is proposing that 250 unit building at Westport.
What you have there is 16 years of growth. This is what those trees looked like in 2007.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Jul 22, 2022Busch east side plaza

I’d hardly call a wide walkway a plaza. MLS is certainly a plaza but I’ll agree with DB it needs more trees because even mature trees wouldn’t shade that space. Especially the area where lines will form.dweebe wrote:What you have there is 16 years of growth. This is what those trees looked like in 2007.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Jul 22, 2022Busch east side plaza
Is the Gateway Foundation involved? Seems like a perfect place for them to place some work.

I'm pretty excited about these sculptures and what they represent. I hope to see more of this in St. Louis and am still wanting to see something that acknowledges the 1919 East St. Louis race riots, in which Eads Bridges played a big role.
They seem to be messing with colors a bit more. Looks like they're trying a red & blue team color mix.
I just hope they keep it subtle and not try and burn retinas out like Austin FC.

In this day and age are you even having a "stadium experience" if your retinas aren't reduce to cinders?
You're getting confused with sound and stadiums/arenas that have the volume cranked to 11.TheWayoftheArch_V2.0 wrote: ↑Jul 23, 2022In this day and age are you even having a "stadium experience" if your retinas aren't reduce to cinders?
If you've seen an Austin game on TV you'd understand. Plus a friend who lives in San Antonio has been to two Austin games and she also said the green LEDs are way too much.

I'm not confused, you're confused.
I’ll shut up now as apparently I’m wrong about everything.TheWayoftheArch_V2.0 wrote: ↑Jul 23, 2022I'm not confused, you're confused.
Place looks fantastic. Really love the roof/overhang. Spending the extra $ to hide the structural components makes all the difference. I've been wondering where 2,500 additional seats would be installed if the capacity is increased. Anyone have insight?
All of the other St. Louis venues were built cheap and have exposed pipes and wiring. Centene will be the first to hide that sort of stuff.STLinCHI wrote: ↑Jul 25, 2022Spending the extra $ to hide the structural components makes all the difference.

^I'd have honestly just said that exposed structure was the trend for about twenty years or so, and all the other local sports venues were built during that twenty year period. Every coffee house from the mid 90s on had the same exposed trusses, ducts, and conduits. Maybe they were all painted black and hung with twinkle lights sometime in the 2000s, but they were all still exposed. Anyway . . . this should be nice!
You go to other arenas from the mid 90's to mid 2000s and they're not that way.symphonicpoet wrote: ↑Jul 26, 2022^I'd have honestly just said that exposed structure was the trend for about twenty years or so, and all the other local sports venues were built during that twenty year period.
