They live among us, in human form.
To the untrained eye, it is almost impossible to tell the difference.
Typically they look like you and I, but they're not, they're not like us at all.
They are Vampires and their modus operandi is not to steal your blood but rather, your precious energy.
Your life-force.
Your mojo.
To drain you emotionally and psychologically.
To frustrate you with their repetitious, self-indulgent, attention-seeking diatribe.
They are often bitter, angry and resentful...and they want you to share their pain.
They don't want solutions, they want pity.
They don't want constructive feedback, they want attention.
They don't want to take responsibility, they want to blame and vent.
They seem to revel in their own misery.
Day in, day out. They have the same conversations about the same issues with the same people and produce the same result; no change.
They major on minors.
They bring others down.
They have a gift for finding the negative.
They are emotionally exhausting to be around.
They inhabit our work places, our families, our schools and they permeate every corner of society...
Ha! Well if it ain't Don Quixote chasin' windmills again. The trick, young lad, is to balance realism with idealism as well as knowing when to pick your battles. You will learn in time lest life continue taking jabs at you.phoaddict wrote:Biggest D-Bags (aka bitter, negative, and pessimistic)

Hey now, I know this is the insult thread, but I really find innov8ion's down-to-earthness very refreshing. The other two, well....

Not only that, but advocating a given point of view without rational basis will get you laughed at in the real/business world. Your continual whining for tall buildings without taking reality into account gets tiresome, eh. Listen to the people that know their ass from a whole in the ground. First business demand / density, then height.
And finally, it's not possible to effect the positive change you seek without realistically understanding the environment and engaging stakeholders in productive ways. As far as effecting change, you may wish to study about organizational change and utilize its principles. Acting like an insulting crybaby will get you nowhere fast. And if you're going to insult others, you better know w.t.f. you're talking about.
Most likely to get beaten down by life at a young age

You're welcome. I only say it because I care and am only playfully sparring. You're awesome because you have passion for the city, a trait that many lack. And if we can all work together both effectively and constructively to improve the proverbial gardens that need tending to, St. Louis will be a better place one step at a time.phoaddict wrote:
Thanks, dad.
I'm wrong to put you in the same category as central scrotes. I apologize. That guy just purely has no soul or emotion.
