I think it's also worth noting that back when you got banned it was 10X more strict under urbanstlouis. CS probably would have been banned too on his watch. Different times. Yep, accidents happen once in a while. To tell you the truth, I couldn't have told you who started the Lambert thread.
As for your ban, I have no comment. I didn't ban you, but you know it was more than just one post.
Doug asked to be allowed back on to the forum, and apologized to the owner of the site for what he was banned for.
CS, well, I agree, but I don't think we really want to ban a guy for trying to be witty. Even if it's not good, and rather annoying.

For everyone else, it wouldn't be a bad thing if we were all nicer to each other once in a while. I don't think people here realize how many influential people are lurking in this place. If you're good, they come out of hiding once in a while, and they are looking for what we have to say about things.

Bringing issues of race onto this forum doesn't violate the terms of use. I wasn't banned because of my opinions. I was banned because I told the owner of the forum to do something rather unpleasant. It was disrespectful.
What I've learned, since my ban, is that personal attacks should be avoided. There are ways of discussing controversial topics without insulting someone.
