The signage is flined with led. It will change color based on the season or particular month of influence. But always remain one static color.

Shula's 347 will be chic, very very chic. construction is moving along very quickly.
I believe the kitchen will be completed soon. And the bar and restaurant are soon to follow. We're still shooting for a December opening date.

Come to me with your questions tomorrow from 12 - 4 at the Tower Sales center.
901 Locust. appointments appreciated.

Chic as in suit & tie chic? Or business casual at the very least?

^ It means the design is elegant, stylish, and smart. Unless they have a dress code, what their clientele wears is up to them. Just wondering, how many restaurants in St. Louis have and enforce strict dress codes?

Not many. I was hoping there would be some minimal dress code. Less hoosiers that way. :)

There will not be a dress code. but I don't think you could over dress. The cool thing about this 347 brand is it ranges the entire spectrum. Casual after work cocktails, special occasion evenings out with your best lady, business dinners, and gathering at the bar to watch the latest game all good reasons to head there.

I'm headed to the penthouse to photograph the views. Stay tuned.

Can you clarify where exactly the penhouse is? I thought the plan for the top floor was a workout facility?

The fitness center is located on the 23rd floor. There is also a large unit on the east of the 23rd floor with a view of the arch. There are two penthouses. Top two floors are divided in the middle (ish) East unit is about 4500 sq ft. West unit is slightly smaller. They have two stories of glass windows and a split level mezzanine, upstairs are the bedrooms, master baths, and the first level is a large open living space. Patio space surrounds the residence on two or three sides. I believe the larger unit also has a rooftop balcony I didn't make it up to because the stairs are not installed yet. Soon I'll be climbing up there to capture the sunrise.

I literally just walked down 27 flights of stairs. After lunch I'll be posting photos of the views on our facebook page. friend us to check them out.

the roberts tower facebook profile picture is nice, except that working video screen in the plaza seems a little far fetched :)

That video board is a great idea...wasnt that part of the original plaza design? It would be a neat way to watch everything from movies, to Cardinals games, to artistic pieces, to CVC spots, to local news and events information, to (God forbid!) advertsing to pay for upkeep of the space...

We are such a technological and video saturated society that multimedia is just about a requirement for anything that wants attention from the public...every time I walk through Citygarden I stop and glance at what is playing on the video board...

Congrats to the Roberts Bros. for seeing the project this far...If I was fortunate enough to be shopping for a home at those price points, I would be giving a hard look at this building...

Thanks for providing an inside look at the Roberts Tower, Jenn! As far as social media goes, it's a best practice for companies utilizing Facebook to create Fan Pages to represent them rather than personal profile pages. The Social Media Club of St. Louis can be a good resource too. Just a tip!

The fact that the video board was left out really kills this plaza. Someone dropped the ball on that one. And if they ran out of money, they should have cut somewhere else.

I think that the metal screen would still look cool with a white panel stuck in the middle for movies. You could even add some white vertical panels to the sides extending to the left and right to make it artsy...

but that still doesn't explain how it got built without them realizing you couldn't actually use it as a projection screen, which i believe is what we're told, right? it's not suitable for that use?

This sounds like a situation of lack of man power.

I find it hard to believe the 'plaza foundation' couldn't find a company to sponsor the screen. I'm sure someone like, clear channel for example, could lease it out to willing advertisers. The Roberts or Culinaria should take this on as a show of good will.
Thank you JennCarter for your perticipation on the forum.

That is such a depressing comment! Good design attracts people with or without multimedia.

Sorry, but you have to agree that the Roberts Tower is the perfect place for an International Man of Mystery to reside!

^ RT has the best location in all of downtown if you ask me. A perfectly suited roost for a Count and his Countess.
