I'm a bit disappointed in the new pics. Would like to see more of the loft itself...could care less about the furniture they picked out.

It does seem a little conservative.
I'd like to see a couple of pics of the whole loft not just the close up views.
Maybe the other one will be a little more modern.

I would bet that those floors are standard. The floors look sealed and polished to me but not stained.

Correct, the floors are polished but not stained. At this point staining would be done after closing.

^Just a little advice if you plan on staining. I beleive once they are sealed like that it costs extra per sqft to have the seal removed before they can acid etch the concrete. So if you are sure you want to stain, you may want to instruct pyramid not to seal the concrete in your unit and take the cash credit instrad.
cash credit from pyramid? HA!
they don't do credits. i'm buying my own appliances and they wouldn't give me credit for the ones that come with the purchase price so i'm having them placed in the boxes in my unit UNINSTALLED and i'm gonna sell them after i close.

am not agreeing with the paint color. i think it kind of suffocates the unit.
These pictures are quite disappointing for sure. It might just be that whoever took the photos is a horrible photographer and doesn't have the eye to show off the space. Or it just might be that whoever picked colors and furniture does not know what they are doing. But I'm sure it's a great floor plan and it is a great project. Hopefully it looks better in person than on the website.

+1 We didn't want GE anything
For a minute there I thought they were selling furniture and not a loft. Silly me.

Tim said last week that there was a delay of some sort. The workers are here but the marble isn't. I'd heard it was coming from Brazil but he mentioned some other SA country. That's all I've heard, other than that originally I thought it was going in around 4/15.

I heard some letters have been sent out to schedule closing dates for those on the second floor. Specifically, I know someone who has their closing scheduled for May 24th. Anyone here on 2 schedule closing yet?
we got our letter today. we close on the 25th. our final walkthrough is the 19th. i'm excited that we finally have a closing date but i feel like pyramid is cutting it close if there's anything that's not right.

The board has spoken. Just goes to show you that the developer is watching this site as the progress pictures now show more of the true space instead of just furniture shots.

You know, because he only has six days between final walk-through and closing.
Of course, the closing can always be moved.
They are a reputable company, and virtually everything in your loft has a 1 yr warranty. My expereience is they will make things right even after closing. I had less than a week between my final w/t and close, and they were all over my list of things that needed fixin'. Just make sure its documented and take your time during the walk through.

i am sincerly hopeful that we will have a similar experience that you have had. we'll know in a week.

Hurry up and move in already!
I'm dying to hear about it all. I feel like ours is so far away. You better put up some pics when you get in.
