^ Glad you posted in this thread. I lived in South County for three years, not far from Saint Anthony's Hospital.

You won't see much about SoCo on this forum since the city is the primary focus, but I think South County is pretty underrated as far as suburban living is concerned. I think Oakville in particular is really nice. I really like Bee Tree Park, and I'd have to seriously consider a move to the suburbs if I could have a house off Christopher Road with a view of the Mississippi River and Illinois. Best of all, it's still a relatively short drive into the city from Oakville. 8)

Hello All.

I've been reading you guys for a couple years now and thought I should finally contribute something...at least an introduction. My wife and I recently started up a new business and we're looking for a place in the city to rehab as a live work space.

My wife is a chocolotier and makes some of the most amazing chocolates I've ever had. She works out of a shared commercial kitchen right now, but we would love to find something in the Benton Park, Fox Park, Tower Grove area. In the meantime, stop by the Tower Grove Farmers Market or Maplewood Market and say hi. The company's name is Kakao Chocolate.

Hmmmm....was she in the St. Louis Business Journal in the past few months? I seem to recall reading something about that.

If she was in the Biz Journal that's news to me.

Her picture was on the cover of the Business Section in the Post a month ago as part of a story on the shared kitchen she works in.

Aside from Sauce, that's about it on press coverage.

Fashionably late as always:)

Hi. My name is Carrie. I am a paralegal for a Clayton law firm by day, and a rollergirl for the Arch Rival Roller Girls by night. My derby name is Carrieocity Kills and I skate with the Smashinistas. We are currently deep into our second season and headed for the Champsionship game Nov 24th. More info is found here: www.archrivalrollergirls.com or you can always find us on myspace:)

I have lived in the city of St. Louis for over 8 years. I am proud to announce I am also a St. Louis City homeowner for going on 4 years now. I was born and raised in St. Charles and I went to Francis Howell North.

When I am not rollerskating or dodging attorneys, I enjoy sewing, reading, listening to music, and escaping it all with long hot bubble baths:)

I am 33, queer and I have a rabbit named Hasenfeffer.

I found this site during a google search looking for a Grovefest flier- and I decided to stay awhile, if you dont mind:)

Sounds like an awesome addition to the city! I recently visited a really cool chocolate shop in KC - I'd love to have something like this here: http://www.elbowchocolates.com/
