I started with American then status matched to United a few years ago, went back to American, then status matched to Delta. Been with American for a solid 3 years now. Don't love it, but the route network works better for me, and I know them well, and I know their hubs well. Lots of people told me service was way better on DL but honestly it wasn't "better enough" to pull me away from American. I do almost always get upgraded on American, I can't honestly remember a flight in the past 2+ years I haven't gotten a free upgrade.jshank83 wrote: ↑Jul 27, 2021I’m in the same boat. I like Delta and have a Delta card but I really have little reason to ever fly them anymore with the 5 cities they fly to. I might pocket it and get an AA one. I fly Southwest most of the time but I like to have one international carrier as my go to otherwise. I keep waiting for some kind of international flight announcement to change but with covid still around who knows how long that will take.symphonicpoet wrote: ↑Jul 27, 2021^Things are coming along. And it makes me ten flavors of happy to see AA adding flights. AA has, at times, frustrated the ever living crap out of me, but I sincerely want them to succeed. I'm seriously considering jumping ship and going back to AA. (All my blinking MQMs are going to expire anyway at this rate. I sincerely doubt the big DL will extend them another year just because it's still so blasted hard to go anywhere overseas.)
I do wish there were more concession options in C though. Maybe with the added traffic something will get put in around C24. I do fly SW about 10-15% of the time, and it is much nicer in E than C.
