Still holding out hope for a CAVA. If there is one place they would put one in the city it's south Euclid.

Midtown by SLU or SSM/Cardinal Glennon would probably work too
I'd love to see that.   How would CAVA compare to Medina's at Maryland & Euclid?
CAVA is like the chipotle of Mediterranean food. They pick up a pita or a bowl and you tell them what stuff you want in it among the options in front of you.
I could probably research but maybe someone on here knows so I wont have to. What is the difference between Cava and Garbonzos or are they basically the same thing?

It's like Chipotle vs. Qdoba - perceived freshness and particulars of topping offerings

This is going to be the new closest location to the city, and very transit accessible.

This seems to me to be a desirable spot for apartments with some of the best transit/grocery/nightlife accessibility in the entire region. It wouldn't fit a large building, but did anyone hear of any interest over the years?

I get what you're saying and agree: but supposedly the school district had some reservations about apartments overlooking an elementary school playground when it got brought up.

If anything I'd prefer to TOD apartment development at this spot down the hill.

It's pretty crazy how unbelievably bad every city in the county is at incentivizing TOD.

Our system of local governance doesn't incentivize TOD, it incentivizes big box stores and malls so munis can maximize their sales tax revenue.

The space is under construction and I asked a worker

All R&B Restauant & Love

Also looks like we are getting close to the Union Loafers location opening at Russell and Mississippi. Yesterday they were spray painting the outdoor chairs orange under their LOAFERS canopy. At the rate they are moving I expect they will be open no later than summers end, perhaps even earlier

Have they lost $41,400,000,000 since their inception or is that just spaceX?

Hmmm. Well, I believe SpaceX was the most subscribed IPO EVER because Elon has already hinted that he’s going to roll Tesla into SpaceX.

But I know you already knew that.

We also already knew that Elon Musk's companies have received at least $38 billion in government contracts over the last 20 years and has about $12 billion lined up over the next several years.

I hope SportsBra opens and succeeds. But couldn't they have gone somewhere that isn't literally a long ball throw from another sports bar? Like the Grove, South Grand, the old Fieldhouse spot by SLU or somewhere else?

Their proof of concept is next door.  Sports bar that is frequented by sports fans.   Walgreens opening up across the street from CVS happens all the time.  Pretty common concept for retail / service type of businesses.
