Yea I agree it's not a bad style of development for here and there but our best neighborhoods look nothing like this at all. It's fine and if it attracts residents, then great, but let's not act like this is anything more than a private street.

It’s solid for an area like Grand Center where it gets people who are interest in the arts, living closer to the arts, and therefore participating, donating and supporting the arts frequently

We should mostly be trying to rebuild our historic urban fabric in our homes though

This whole city used to look like Soulard and Benton Park and the progress we can make getting it back to that architecture and urban design across the rest of the city will get us closer to being a premier city once again
