the current proprietor of Attitudes has a video on Facebook in which he says that two parties (i think i heard two ladies' names) are reopening Attitudes. not sure if it will remain Attitudes or become something altogether different.

Any reason the building supposedly hosting the relocated Tropical Liquers still has a "For Lease" sign and nothing seems to be going on?

^ Just a guess, but I imagine it will take some time to get the necessary liquor licenses, etc. for the deal to be sealed.

Also, an arcade bar called Parlor is planned for 4170 Manchester (at the corner of Kentucky). next to where the relocated Rise will be.

Love the "how cute, he didn't own a car for a wile" angle. Is he weirdo? Let's learn more!

^Between the "how cute, no car" theme and "Growing the Grove" title, you'd think there might be a mention of the incoming Metrolink station that will serve the neighborhood.... but no.

So in short order a specialty barware. kitchenware and t-shirt shop have all opened up. Will be interesting to see how much more will come in the near term; I wouldn't be surprised if more boutiques come in.

WUMCRC's twitter account posted this Youtube video, which shows "Development Planning in Progress" on the site of what used to be Manchester Market. They have it as a 3-4 stories and extending all the way to Cadet Avenue, for whatever that's worth.

I went in the other day and there's so much space in the building! I'm curious when it starts to get warmer to see if that while building can fill up at night.

I believe a Midland Bank branch is going into the recently completed mixed-use building a bit east of Tower Grove Ave. Also, the Sweetie's second go-round closed around Christmas.

I attended the meeting. MFH said that they have budget constraints and hence cannot renovate the 4 family building as well. When asked if they would allow another developer to go for it instead, they said they want to have a campus feel (how I hate the word) and have separation from nearby property owners.
A representative from HOK said that the 4 family building was not historic, it just happened to be in a national register historic district (eye roll)
