From what I read a private contractor installed a conduit and didn’t report it to Missouri One Call.

The city didn’t know it was there.

And I was talking about the MoDot portion leading to the new on-ramp to EB40.

You can’t dig new conduits and not report them to One Call or at least the City…they did it anyway.
Kambitch stated the damaged underground conduits included what was found to be a private electrical run, between the stadium and a VIP parking lot, that wasn’t marked or identified through MO One Call/Dig Rite, the utility line locating service.

He also said no one with the stadium construction staff had alerted the city contractors to the location of the private conduit run.
This is basic utility stuff here. Can’t believe the MLS team dropped the ball like this.

Looks like the ramp to 22nd and EB40 from Jefferson are open.  Not sure why they haven't opened the slip ramp on the WB side yet...

I got off the highway here today. Seems pretty pointless for now since you can't cross the 22nd Street bridge. It just puts you right back on the highway or you can get off at 14th then.

These areas always end up looking so bland... is there anyway we can force MODOT to at least landscape all of the off ramps in the city?

^ Even if we could they don’t have the manpower. What they should do is continue the Landscape Sponsor program from the I-64 rebuild.

Updated imagery online this morning! Looks like mid-summer 2022. Nice views of the new Grove construction, MLS stadium, DeBalieviere construction and more!

Love to see the green return, makes the city look some much more alive than the winter imagery

Any idea when 22nd will be extended through that parking lot. The new bike trail under the interstate is great, but useless without that connection, as it just dead ends by an interstate ramp.

It looks like the helicopter company there is still using the lot for parking. It's fenced off, so there's no way to make a connection on bike/foot.

Maybe there's a way around to the west there through what looks like an old alley and along the west side of the Arch Reactor building? I'll have to check that out, as it seems like this won't be completed anytime soon.

I’d believe it’ll be finished or at least have nothing stopping it from being finished after the new lot for those existing spaces is finished just in the lower right of this image.

You'd think that UPS would be kicking and screaming to have that access open as soon as possible so that their package cars/trucks could use that entrance and exit instead of fighting with traffic on Jefferson.

"fighting"?  there is a light there.

Honestly i would like to see a plan to move UPS so that this corner could be redeveloped with a denser higher value use.   Probably like 10ish years down the road when NS line is open if all goes well.  Considering it is planned to be a major hub station a UPS logistic hub its sort of an underwhelming use.

A light that that still requires a city cop to work some mornings when all their trucks leave during the holiday season.
