This building looks good. It also looks good next to One hundred.

It does make you excited if the lot behind would ever sell to a developer. CWE really would be popping with height. I’d assume that lot would get a taller tower

Long vacant and unused parcel at Euclid & Lindell. Definitely one of the most prime real estate empty lots in the city

I certainly hope that lot gets developed but I think the odds of it having a taller tower are low, there's no view of Forest Park.

Yeah I think something closer to Citizen Park would make sense there.

Albion looks great so far. The glass reflecting the sky is particularly beautiful. I think it differs enough that it'll complement One Hundred while having a good look in its own right

Can someone please post these updates on SkyscraperPage.com?? There's an Albion thread on the forum but it hasn't been updated recently and St. Louis deserves representation.  Come on, let's make sure STL is on the international map for urban development, you guys!

Agreed, once the patterns on the windows started to come together, I was sold.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing.  Now that enough is in place to understand pattern it looks quite good.  Still wish the gold was more gold and less sahara dust color but oh well.

Great photos! Thank you for sharing all.

The first proposal was far more sophisticated in my opinion, but I am very happy that this is rolling full steam ahead. From a developer / operator perspective, I wonder how and who this will be marketed to. It'll have to compete with its neighbor to the south, so I wonder how it will set itself apart. Seems like a missed opportunity for a larger more captivating amenity deck spanning the entire rooftop of the garage. Amenities attract ... (e.g. Lux Living)

Albion's floor plate is more spacious. Amenities are also more plenty: 7th floor hosts a fitness room that wraps the east, south and west sides, and includes sauna and yoga rooms. There is a dedicated juice/smoothie bar, and the pool atop the garage is 2x, maybe 3x the size of 100's. It is populated with the same Lux Living treatment (ie. cabanas, grills, bar space).

The top floor is also home to more amenities: rooftop terrace with spaces to grill and hangout, in addition to the stargazing room.

First floor has a larger retail space than 100, (which could fetch a hot restaurant), in addition to what they are referring to as a community library

I think he might mean the original Albion design from 2022 and not the tower I’ve talked about a little bit off and on here a while back. Though that one, with its terra cotta, bronze, curves and height would’ve been an instant classic. That would be a good one for Lindell and Euclid.

^ How tall? I think this design looks great when it's stretched out to 400-500ft but not bad as is.

Do you have a photo of the terrace cotta one?

I do not, but I have the layout drawn by memory and the architect did design other buildings with the same design aesthetic. It’s up to Koplar whether or not to ever show the design, but I don’t imagine he will. It’s best to never show what could’ve been. I will say that the design being built is appropriate and contrasts nicely to the Park Plaza and One Hundred. Sometimes a simple design is the best.
