Glass is going up on the northern side of the eastern tower.
A friend and I went on a tour of Ceylon yesterday, (which is already having terrible maintenance issues we discovered,) and I snapped a photo, from a 6th-floor unit, of Forsyth Pointe, showing the glass wrap beginning. I'm pretty stoked to see how this one wraps up. I think Forsyth Pointe will look bangin' when done.

That’s too bad to hear about the Ceylon. We walked through and saw a few units a couple years ago and it looks basically perfect, so it would be unfortunate if things fell apart that fast.SRQ2STL wrote:A friend and I went on a tour of Ceylon yesterday, (which is already having terrible maintenance issues we discovered,) and I snapped a photo, from a 6th-floor unit, of Forsyth Pointe, showing the glass wrap beginning. My jaw dropped when we got out on the 2nd level common-area terrace that overlooks Central Avenue. The whole terrace is torn up to bits. Like chunks out of the tiles and debris everywhere from the floor disintegrating. Like we're talking abandoned looking. I said something to the leasing specialist about what we were walking on and they responded, "yeah...they're finding that there are materials outside that have not been standing up to the weather over the last couple of years. They're going to have to replace all of this."brianadler6545 wrote: ↑Mar 09, 2022That’s too bad to hear about the Ceylon. Another thing I noticed in the vacant units we walked was in the tile work in the bathroom and kitchen. There were noticeably misaligned tiles and the caulk work was incredibly messy.
Lastly, all of the units facing west look at a parking garage wall. Very dystopian and depressing for commanding $2,000+ a month.
I was never impressed with any of the renderings of this project, but now that I see it with glass going in, I think I'm gonna like it.
This project is okay, but man; this site really cried out for a much taller, signature building.

the base and podium look to be less than desirable. Clayton will be a city of blank walls with corners only if this trend keeps up
UNLESS im mistaken and all of that will be retail...
Yes, all of the first level is retail on Forsyth. There’s also retail on Brentwood Blvd and Meramec.
Are those blue and green colors part of the finished product, or are they protective films that will be removed?
I remember when the Hanley Corporate Tower (nee Interco Tower) was built, the Alucobond panels were covered in bright blue protective film, and people freaked, thinking it was the final finish. Wish I could find a picture of it (alas, we had no internets back then).

Very handsome addition to Clayton. Just sad that it's such a chode. Double chode!quincunx wrote: ↑Jan 07, 20238029 Forsyth Forsyth Pointe 2022-12-31.jpg

The SE and SW corners have a light feature!

Curious if anyone thinks their is enough available space to land Emerson @ Forsyth Pointe? Likely another candidate in the hunt if there is space. But I have no clue and of course Emerson could simply sell their current HQ and back lease what they need.. but nothing like going all in on some good ol speculation.
^ got it, thanks. Forsyth Pointe as per website still touting 102,000 sq ft available and at an individual taking 125 or 150 per sq feet you are looking at enough space to handle a corporate count of 700 to 800.
2.17.23 update: The art install has occurred, at Meramec/Forsyth corner.
