unfortunate but not terribly surprised. i stopped watching a few episodes into the second season. got boring, IMHO.

I tweeted Grant Bowler (Lawkeeper) a couple of weeks ago asking if he was leaving for a 4th season, given how his character finished last season. He replied with this tweet: "@GrantBowler: I don't want to!!.,,, but I have 2 kids to feed. But we know actors eat glitter and poop rainbows, right?". So I was pretty sure he wasn't returning. And he was the actor who carried the show. I guess they didn't get paid well.

^ weird... i get that glitter is cheap but what would pooping rainbows have to do with being paid poorly? anyway, yeah i liked his character and, really, all the main characters. and i thought the character design/costumes/makeup were pretty great. i also had high hopes with Rockne O'Bannon as one of the main writers (who also wrote for the amazing Farscape). but the show just seemed to lose its momentum after the first season. too bad.
