It was on top of One Met. Left 2? Years ago. Maybe a bit longer. Covid years have me off on guesses.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Jun 14, 2022Wasn't Kemolls the one atop millenium?JaneJacobsGhost wrote: ↑Jun 14, 2022JFC, DB. I didn’t say there wasn’t fine dining left DT. Top of the Riverfront was the Millennium rotating restaurant. Decent for brunch but don't think we can lament it as a loss of fine dining.

Price IMO is only part of determining if it’s fine dining. Fine dining is created by atmosphere and how you are served more so than price. Otherwise you could call Landry’s fine dining with all their dishes being fairly high priced.JaneJacobsGhost wrote:Entrées we’re $25-$50 10 years ago.

Man, we really need an announcement on Two Cardinal Way ASAP.

Pretty sure there was an "engine room" surcharge for upkeep to the spinner.JaneJacobsGhost wrote: ↑Jun 14, 2022Entrées we’re $25-$50 10 years ago.

^Well, that's what makes the atmosphere, isn't it? They've got the price and the view. The only things I can think of that leaves are the waiters putting the linen napkins in your lap for you and putting the fancy little butter pats on your plate with the silver tongs. Meh, not sure. I was never there and I tend to avoid fine dining, truth be told. My ability to consistently afford it is rather newfound, so I've got a lot of catching up to do.
I am beginning to think that the DeWitts are saving cash in the preparation of selling the team and existing BPV Development. If the DeWitts came in tomorrow and said build. We would see boots and shovels on the ground soon after that.

There was a rumor that they were trying to sell about a year ago. They denied it then, but who knows? Maybe there's some truth to it.
I think they could probably get $3 billion or more for the team and site.

Dewitts arent going anywhere, they're involved in a lot of stuff behind the scenes like raising money for the 7th street project

What are you referring to?TheWayoftheArch_V2.0 wrote: ↑Jun 15, 2022^Based on nothing? Gut feeling? This is fairly wild conjecture...
The rumor that the DeWitts were going to sell the team? Those rumors were reported in multiple local outlets. Here's one: https://fox2now.com/sports/st-louis-car ... s-in-2021/
Or are you referring to my claim that the family could probably snag $3 billion for the sale?
The Denver Broncos were worth $3.75 billion in their Forbes valuation last year; they just sold for $4.65 billion. The Cardinals are currently worth $2.45 billion according to Forbes; but with there only being thirty teams and a limited number of clubs up for sale each year, the sales prices are always higher than the club's on-paper worth.
^^^ 7th Street project is fully funded already!
All of those public funding resources required local matches, and fundraising for that fell to DeWitt. He said he finished raising the required money a few months ago (2021), when Enterprise Holdings Chairman Andy Taylor "stepped up and said he would close the final gap we had."

I believe Bill DeWitt III and his brother Andrew are already part of the Cards' ownership group, although I don't know what their stake is.

That rumor was quickly shot down by the DeWitts, and there's been absolutely no other rumors since. Not multiple rumors, just one that multiple media outlets quickly ran their own stories on. When there's smoke, there's usually fire. But this was the equivalent of a birthday candle that was quickly blown out.
Nothing officially announced. Just rumor and assumption.

Considering the amount of projects on that list that are in limbo, dead, or probably dead, I wouldn't give too much weight to what they are saying.

Bill DeWitt was on the Cardinals broadcast for the second game of the Cards' Saturday doubleheader against Cincinnati...
- They're interested in another apartment tower going up. They recognize how successful the existing tower is and has been and want to replicate those successes in a new tower. They know demand is strong enough to do so.
- Ideally, they're wanting to build an office tower - IF they can get tenants ready to commit.
- They know they have 3 lots ready to go and want to build as much as they can.

I'm hoping that they will go bigger and better with the remaining lots, though I'll take towers of comparable size to One Cardinal Way if that's what it will take to get it done.
I wonder if this has anything to do with DeWitt speaking about a updated BPV Time Line?

^^ Thanks GC for the updates, insights. Considering that BPV is being developed by a whole different team not sure if the Cards Season has anything to do with a BPV announcement other thing waiting to time announcements for biggest audience that Cards can deliver on. In other words, I don't see why they couldn't announce or put out some renderings right now if they really wanted. In that respect the whole teasing thing gets old.
^ Prophet, not sure what Nationals stadium permit issue relates to BPV or the Cardinals. Confused on your thoughts? On side note, I doubt National stadium is in jeopardy but you have to love media's desire for over the top headlines.

I don't get this either. The Cardinals and Cordish are under no threat of penalty by the city if they don't rapidly build out those remaining parcels. They can take as much time as they want. If I understand it correctly, the amended development agreement for Phase II only covered the Clark Street buildout...which is done.dredger wrote: ↑Sep 19, 2022Prophet, not sure what Nationals stadium permit issue relates to BPV or the Cardinals. They're not actually under any obligation to build anything else. Though I'm sure they'll come back to the public till for any future phases.

DeWitt also ended the BPV part of his interview by directly stating that there are no concrete plans at the moment, and no announcements to be made. So he was just talking in general with vague updates. Don't hold your breath for any major BPV news anytime soon.
