Thats probably what they will call it because the Office Building could be bpv^1 as Building count is concerned. They will probably use this numbering like KC Power and Light Pen Light Two Light and so on.

That enlargement seems to indicate that the top is some kind of semi-transparent glazing. Could be really cool with some creative lighting inside. A toned-down Glowhawk, if you will.

Is it odd to anyone else that the 10 story office building has apartment-style balconies in the rendering?

It's probably the hotel. The building right next door to the market. But who knows.

I think a hotel could come mid point during construction of Phase 2 in the back NorthWest Corner of the site. Because on the site plan, you can clearly see a outline for a building compared to the remaining 2 lots. The Northwest lot carries a building look from the top that resembles the Residential Tower. Maybe that is a third building that could be announced soon or mid point during construction. But I think that is where the hotel would be. Look at the lot here.

Thanks for that. An informative - if somewhat sobering - walk down memory lane.

I really like this long-lost gem of a rendering. And oddly - because I think it was one of the first - the combination of Phase I and Phase II may end up being the most similar to this early vision (albeit, with less of a grid and decreased outdoor space shifted westward).

Secondly, let's hope this one ends up being the absolute nadir of Ballpark Village desperation, thoughtlessness, and incompetence. How they even came up with this (an undergrad intern?) and decided to actually released it as a viable vision or concept is just incredible. Did they really expect this to convince Stifel to move their HQ?. It looks like they just took a screen grab from a video game, possibly MLB 2K6 for GameCube.

TBD what ends up getting built. But, in my opinion, the latest proposal certainly seems to be on the better end of what we've seen proposed at different points thus far.

I think the shadows forecasted from each of the buildings (empty lots to the north and proposed buildings to the south) is really telling of the height they have in mind for the district.

If you look closely you can see the shadows northwest of each building with the corresponding heights for each planned building on each section/lot

Good eye user28. That makes the NW corner just a bit more interesting. Still not quite the residential tower on the SE, but not bad.

Tho I should note that the firm that did phase one is not involved in phase two...
You called it years ago with HCM2.

Commercial tenants might like a outside space to view of the stadium, arch, etc

Could phase 3 be a 24-story mixed-use tower with 100,000 square feet of office space and a 220-room key hotel, with additional retail in the base?

^ Maybe the Cardinals are seeing how phase 2 does and decide whether the next tower will be a hotel or more apartments. Either way this could be BIG!

They could announce that very soon. But it may add a good $100 Million to the Phase. I counted the floors. It's 25 floors

While obviously Phase 3 is only renderings only and pure speculation, a 25 story tower would surely be hotel plus more residential right? No way would a hotel take up all 25 floors?

It mentions 100k of office space as well as a hotel.

Not surprising at all. Someone really screwed up by uploading the wrong batch of photos, but to our renderings addiction benefit.

If you know a bit about the history of phase 2 and when it started;

These could be phase 3 but more likely they could be an earlier version or a different version of phase 2 that got accidentally uploaded
In none of them do you see the actual tower of the real phase 2.

It may be but it doesnt seem so. The architects website I checked Tuesday and there was no mention of Ballpark Village Phase 2 and then there was for like an hour or two. And it also couldn't be so because in interviews leading up to this, Bill Dewitt the 3rd said that in the next Phase, we want to do Residential and that there is a good place for a tall and thin one. This isn't Residential, it's offices and a hotel, just like Bill said.

I remember someone saying earlier on this forum that they saw the site plan and it was only the western half. I bet this was the original phase 2 plan with residential phase 3 but that was then switched. I would love to see the hotel be phase 2.5 and maybe start construction in 2018.
