^ ^ I don't know if there is a redevelopment plan per se, but there has been some recent stabilization work.... I sure hope that beaut gets its due.

We sure seem to be getting ever closer to that critical mass.... if this goes well it could firm up the commercial leasing not only in this building but also the handsome large building directly across on Delmar that has residential above; there's also a great old bank building adjacent to that one that is just waiting for some love. And adjacent to that is the Kingshighway Aldi's with the huge parking that I believe has an opportunity for more commercial infill... edit: oops, I see a White Castle's is coming very soon.

Back on the CWE side of the Delamar Divide, I also hope something nice can come to the quite large vacant lot across on the other side of Euclid from the Euclid Plaza; preferably something like the Gotham Apartment infill. And the Rothschild development on Olive will help bring foot traffic and $$ as well.

For Central Corridor projects. I split out nabes north of 40/64 from those south of 40/64. Just a reminder, the City considers the Central Corridor to be from Delmar to 44, so that includes Lasalle, Peabody Darst-Webbe and Lafayette Square but not Soulard.

The residential activity in CWE and to a lesser extent The Grove really is incredible.... I'm counting at least 750 multifamily units in the CWE that have some form of work permit (demo, building, etc.) and another 87 planned with the news of Euclid Plaza. For the Grove I count at least 291 plus the unknown number on the second floors of the numerous Manchester rehabs.

Anyone know about a possible redevelopment plan for the 1801 block of Washington? This is a surface vacant lot I believe owned by Jump. It looks like there is a public hearing on June 24

I also added the Municipal Courts project and Kiener Plaza East garage updates to the planned list.

Euclid will definitely be one of the more bustling streets in the metro area, when these infill projects are done. The CWE will probably be the most vibrant neighborhood in the Midwest outside of Chicago in the next 5-10 years. The growth has been amazing and just when you think its done.....boom!

Am i wrong to consider CWE as part of midtown i mean it gets more attention than midtown itself in fact i wouldn't mind if CWE & Midtown were incorporated. Don't get me wrong i love the CWE however i would enjoy seeing all this infusion of projects going into our downtown to make it more vibrant. I just think CWE was already bustling before all this because no matter what you have the ginormous hospital complex. In all its great to see our arguably most diverse area being pampered with quality projects.

^ I know what you're saying; I wouldn't have minded if some of that CWE superheated activity were to have been redirected east of Grand but I think it can only help all of the Central Corridor as redevelopment begins to spread out more intensively and "bargain" land prices are to be had. Also, the signs of progress on north CWE and the Grove are great to see as well.

Seems like things are slowly starting to pick up steam which is great! With the Riverfront addition of new restaurants the arcade possible north riverfront including stadium downtown west union station old millennium hotel still a chance for BPV to break ground on phase 2 in the coming future new bike lanes possible new streetscape blues museum & many more projects will be on the drawing board things are looking good. I can honestly things are brightening up for Downtown i think with the addition of continued new residents it will be only a matter of time before the downtown office market starts to pick up & come into life. Other things Midtown Cortex the grove botanical heights cherokee benton park soulard ville neighborhood CWE zoo extension still hopes for parts of north side the entire city is in for a possible dramatic change brighter future its quite possible the city will register its first ever population grown in about 10 or so years specially with the influx of immigrants and millennials. Saint.Louis is a hidden gem & right now i feel very optimistic.
