WUSTL already does that on Med campus with giving a free monthly metro pass if you don’t bring a car on campus, it’s been 4 years since I was there I think utilization rate was 12-18%. Biggest issue at that time and I’m sure it still is, bjc won’t do the same and bjc gives free parking, at least WUSTL charges for parking

BJC gives free parking to their employees? That's madness. I understand why they validate patient and visitor parking. But . . . wow. I suppose they'd probably lose employees to the Mercy-ful suburbs without it. We really need regional developments standards, but that'll be so hard to pass when I can never explain to my mother (or wife) how the parking at her favorite hospital/mall/suburban whatever really isn't free in the end. The (supremely high) costs are just (expertly) buried in the taxes.
Kaldi's has to have the correct atmosphere so that they can charge people $35 for a slice of quiche and a small latte.
Looks like the last tower crane is coming down this weekend. Mobile crane with a big jib is being assembled. The crane that was dedicated to that ridiculous monster of a parking garage came down on April 29.

I gotta say, this thing is enormous and makes quite the impression even from EB 44.
Looks like they're installing a gigantic WashU sign that also seems as if it will include a giant WU crest. That should look pretty cool.
