It really makes you wonder what's under the aluminum siding in some of our older neighborhoods. Heck, maybe even brick or stone walls from 1890 could be reskins "modernizing" older buildings.

I really wouldn't even guess that big farmhouse surrounding it was new. Maybe from the twenties? But man, that thing was lost in there. I expect folks trying to drive a nail had an idea something was weird. Or anyone looking at a door frame. No idea where they got the timbers to reconstruct the gallery or the attic space. Would love to learn more about that once the place is open again. I have that down as a future exploration project.
