I hope GRG can find a way to prioritize the construction of the Hodiamont Project in the wake of the tornado, at least between the St. Vincent and maybe Taylor. Having that corridor of optimism running through the damaged area could save dozens of teetering buildings from the wrecking ball at this time.

I think we should try to build nice things in North City. I think its bad to say you cant have a bike path because you have much bigger problems.

Im most excited about the art work and installations happening (and the eventual trail oriented businesses and events). I am still holding out that they commission a monumental brick sculpture somewhere in the downtown portion of the trail - something that would be an attraction on its own

I don't get why they're building the Tucker to 4th st portion of Brickline (along Market st) rather than 20th to Tucker. It'll be like 2 small pieces (Compton to 20th being the other) than like one medium long bikepath
Probably because it's more straightforward of a design with fewer parties that are concerned with the road diet aspect (which I suspect is happening with the big institutions west of Tucker). The main stakeholder for the eastern section is Gateway Arch Park Foundation who is probably eager and willing for this to happen.
