In my opinion, something more cylindrical might play well on the corner...contrasting One Hundred's sharp angles.

Edit: I took a look at Emporis, the building statistic database, and based on the heights they’re listing for St. Louis buildings, the 12th tallest in the region is 212 in Clayton at 380’. However, Emporis seems to have some different heights than other sources, OCW is only 320’ according to them.
If Chris’ prediction holds true I’m guessing this one will be right around One Hundred’s height. Hopefully a little taller.

Perhaps they'll go more Deco than the Park East and give us something (scaled down a bit) like the comcast tower. slender spire, base extends back along lindell toward the shorter neighbor while slender profile minimizes impact...

Is adding balconies to overlook parks a new learning or trend for taller buildings near overlooks? Looking at these examples and comparing them to One Hundred, I'm wondering if being able to sit out on your personal balcony and look over the best urban park in the country will be a touch point for this spot?

Patti - You are probably right, I think it will be a focus, but this is why I was thinking the "terraced" design, similar to these older art deco builds would make sense. Solid terraces as the building telescopes as opposed to jutting balconies.

This is the best post I've read in quite some time. These ideas that everyone is posting up are great as well. What if this.....What if that.... I eagerly await this proposal and the accompanying architect's renderings. I do hope something is announced before the holidays, or sooner. Found what I think will be an excellent concept design for this site. Has the deco look (Neo Art Deco/Streamline Moderne), hard terraces and the balconies Mr. MaGee noted were much needed to enjoy the park views:

As I said, I'm trying to describe a conceptual look for the new tower, not trying to find an image of exact height.
That said this is 28 stories tall, and at 14 feet a floor it would be roughly 392' so think its fairly accurate, regardless.

As I said in another thread, there's a pretty good example of what this will look like in another city in the Midwest. That's a purposely vague statement since if I said the City, people would know right away and then the fun of guessing would be over.

I personally hope they do, or at least majority glass. The other two I'll toss out as my backup guesses are (obviously much shorter versions of) Cirrus and Cascade in Chicago. Nothing extreme about their designs, just simple, elegant lines with clear glass that help add something different for St. Louis' brick and stone buildings to contrast to:
