Anyone know what’s going on?

There’s nothing to be concerned of here. The project is still happening just without PPG as a partner.

It almost seems as though Bamboo used PPG to go through some of the approval process then said “goodbye”.

I highly doubt that is the case and if it is it says a lot about Bamboo's ability to get this done if they needed to trick a partner in order to get some basic approvals.

Here are some new renderings. Balconies were added to the 7th Floor addition. These were all posted on the Arcturis website. The atrium currently exists and is visible from Google Satellite view.

They're really mucking up the facade. Are they using historic tax credits?

^ I don’t think they are. I think half of it was built in the 80s anyway so I’m not sure it’s even eligible.

Tiny pool, but I love the look of the space.  Thanks for the updated pics, Chris.  I'd be tempted pull myself up to the very top of the roof on those steps to get a better view into Busch. 🙂

RIght?  Sun will never hit the pool.  Not to mention plants actually surviving.  Still very happy with the outcome.  Steps up to the top roof and bleachers up there would have been a bulls-eye.

I don't really see how they're mucking up the facade.

^Even with the magic laser-beam effect that's really quite the scene. Some great camera work, great lighting, great acting, and fantastic music. Maybe we can unofficially declare that the Well of Souls Pool and work to get a USTL Well of Souls Pool Party going at some future point. (Swimming optional, of course.)

^Either way, pool or no, Well of Souls would be an awesome name for a bar.  🙂

I haven't gone down tonight, but late this afternoon (like around 5PM) the front door to the building was wide open with no fencing around it. I wonder if people were working in there but no lights were on and parked cars on the street were minimal to none. Hopefully they crews arrant just leaving the front door open right now.

By the way, interior demolition is continuing. A demolition permit was applied for on December 16th and is valued at $690,000. It has not been issued yet.

Bamboo Equity Partners, per their Facebook and LinkedIn posts, are quietly pushing out the "contact us for leasing information" stuff. They also posted these pictures from what looks to be a middle floor.

Just remove all structures of the stadium so that all buildings around have an unobstructed view at the game!

I'm sure the Cardinals were smart enough to intentionally block anything that isn't Ballpark Village from seeing into the stadium once the district is fully built out.

Two Cardinal Way should spell the end of 360's view into the stadium.

^ Oh come on lol. I doubt very much the Cardinals were thinking about intentionally blocking views into the stadium for other developers. The scoreboards were placed were they were to maximize views of the Arch and skyline from inside the park. Nothing more.

And if you’re the Cardinals wouldn’t you want more development around the stadium...whether or not it was your own? That would build in a larger customer base for BPV in addition to bringing more people downtown in general...

I'm actually entirely certain it was intentional. The Cubs sued the owners of the buildings with rooftop viewing around Wrigley claiming copyright infringement, and later wound up blocking some views with a new scoreboard and buying up the rest of the buildings: https://www.nytimes.com/2002/12/18/spor ... p-use.html

I'm certain that the DeWitts are just as business savvy as the Ricketts.
