"The developers have applied for state historic tax credits." - Famous last words! Just kidding (hopefully) since they've supposedly already started work.

The construction elevator has been up for some time. A dumpster and trash chute are in the alley on the North side of the building. I'm unsure if any major progress has been made inside but I doubt it. I saw a business man go into the building when I was taking these photos so I assume no major interior demolition has taken place.

The construction elevator was in use this morning with a few workers there. I asked someone going into the building if the project was moving forward and he said “yeah but slowly”

BidClerk shows that everything has been bid out and that construction should start on January 19th, 2021. 

Seems a bit far off, but I guess it's ok.

Roof progress has been happening over the past month.

Is anything e.g. hotel going to come together here?

^ I have nothing to add other then it does make sense from a business perspective if they put things on pause until rebound.   Their building permit was issued during height of covid surge.   So maybe things will ramp up in near future

This is going to be a dual brand Hilton / Home2 Hotel, interior demo work is well underway.

The project is in full swing and construction suppose to be done early next year.

I drove by last Saturdya and construction was in full swing from what it looked like to me.

I want to know more about the private penthouse on the roof.  Specifically, is it build-to-suit or speculative...?

Does anyone knows the anticipated completion date? And which parking will they use if any?

…..about 6 months when it started.

They just completed bringing the construction elevator down. Asked if they had a completion date but they gave me the run around and then said no lol…

Went to the Hilton App to see if there were new hotels coming Downtown but none showed up. Check all the way to August I think and none showed up.

I wonder if the project is also dead. That would suck! They were working there for weeks now.

Not sure where this came from but I saw this on Twitter a couple days ago

Maybe I’m paranoid but hopefully it came down because work is done but it doesn’t seem like it. Hopefully I’m wrong.

It was used to probably hoist a few mechanical items to the roof, it’s clearly a mobile crane.
