^I tried to make it in the UK and failed twice, as I couldn't find proper cream cheese and every oven there seems to be a convection oven with fancy schamncy fans and features I can't decipher. First one burned a bit around the edges, but was edible. Second one never really sat properly. It was an embarrassment, I tell you. I blame Brexit.

We've been getting tons of good press like this recently. I predict a huge tourism season for STL this year.
To be honest there's like five articles like this one coming out every week. I guess online content managers need stuff to write about.
Clayton not much less than Arlington https://www.zillow.com/clayton-mo/home-values/ Good luck buying/renting for the average price listed in the article STL in a respectable neighborhood/building. Unfortunately north city drags the average down but the reality is a bit to a lot more expensive in much of the area.

As a proud SLU alum, I laugh whenever I see weird rankings like that. It reminds me of when I'm watching a baseball game and the announcer lets me know that Player X is batting .350 against righties with runners on second and third with two outs in the 7th inning or later during an afternoon game.

Interesting how the data of this "Top 10" doesn't reflect the actual national rankings: WashU is listed at #19 overall nationally. Northwestern is #11 nationally. But neither are included on this list... Both are definitely "Midwestern City" as well.

I was able to access the full article and look at the full rankings, which allowed me to then click on the WashU profile. It shows as being in St. Louis. So I don't think that would be an issue. I just think they cherrypicked some schools and/or didn't do a great job thinking this one through.

I've been seeing tons of articles outside of local media regarding Fridays horrific crash in Lake Saint Louis. Those cable barriers probably should be looked at. They are supposed to be capable of stopping semi trucks, yet a pickup truck was able to make its way through with ease.

^ it's also past time to ban/regulate the sale of monster trucks for casual use. it's getting absurd. if he had been driving an appropriately sized vehicle he probably wouldn't have penetrated the guard rail. at the very least it would have done less damage to the victims' cars.

Seems like something better handled by city and county ordinances. No good reason someone in Shannon County can't own a large truck

^ i disagree for the same reason that i disagree that someone in Shannon County should be able to own an assault rifle in addition to a hunting rifle.

So was the truck lifted significantly or something? Obviously a standard F250 has an utility purpose. I could see reasonable legislation establishing heavy restrictions on altering the stock lift of a vehicle. It will of course die in the legislature. If you think people cling to their guns and religion, try taking the keys to their F250.
