They bought the house next door too. I'm almost sure of it. When you look on Google street view from the alley side of the property, before this granite blob was plunked down, they have a separation from the right-hand/southern neighbors house with a fence. ^ can't you just look up the owner on the city website? it's not that unusual. when we lived on Meramec, the lot next to ours had a historic alley house that was built to our property line. saved us some money when we built a new fence. really not a big deal. and i think the "granite blob" is slate, not granite. not sure why it's a "blob". i think it looks nice and creates a pleasant space. anyway, that video is good publicity for STL.

No need to get ruffled over an innocuous taste preference remark. It's not that serious though... lol. The *GRANITE* blob just isn't for everyone, and that's ok!

We actually just ordered one of these Arch lamps to display in our shop. It took a few weeks to ship out- apparently they are all made to order on a 3-D printer. Unfortunately, the finish is not nearly as smooth and sleek as the photos suggest. The texture is pretty rough, as if the legs need to be sanded down or something. I'm surprised it got past their quality control checks to be honest- I imagine a lot of customers would be quite disappointed with the finished product.
