Free idea: Every month during the warmer 3/4 of the year there is an event called "sip and skate" that is kind of cool. They close off a little roller rink loop on the street and people roller skate around the circle. There are vendors and skate rentals.

Unfortunately the skating surface on the roads in TGP is very rough which makes skating tough and uncomfortable. Perhaps next time they resurface the roads they could pour a round section of smooth concrete for these types of events. It wouldn't be that much more expensive and would be a cool amenity for the park

I noticed a few of the pavilions that haven't been updated have been fenced off in the park including the Old Carriage Shelter and the Lily Pond Shelter - assuming those are getting restored since I remember someone saying all of them are getting facelifts. I also saw one of the storage buildigns behind the Piper Palm house was getting demo'd - anyone know if they are starting on that wedding business expansion?

Harvest Fest saturday was a huge success. Great crowds, so many vendors. I really think TG can continue stepping up the game and make this one of the known farmers markets in the country for visitors

Adding lots of picnic tables behind the food court and pavilion and rehabbing the concession stand for some purpose would be where I’d start. Then maybe commission art for the walkways/increase plantings and landscaping in the farmers market area. The crowds are there, time to take the next step

I'd argue a bandshell or a amphitheater so that the pavilion isn't overwhelmed (as it always is) would be a huge upgrade...

Great suggestion, would get lots of use in the current scheduled programming and attract more programming as well. Would really elevate the space

Very cool!  The Francis Park one has certainly been successful, this is another great addition to TGP.

Any insight to where this will be located?

This will be awesome in TG. The boathouse in Forest Park and Beer Garden in Francis Park are big time park amenities

Would love to see Carondelet Park and O’Fallon Park open restaurants/gardens at their boathouses at some point in the future

Fill the parks with amenities!

That would be great.  City shot down Rockwell's proposal at Sublette Park.  Sublette Park would be a great start.
