Ha! That must have been hard for them.
Why, the Ed board at the post is right of center.

Curious of what your definition of ‘center’ is.

Center is a voter who doesn’t care about weed being legal or abortion being legal, wants immigration reform, wants less gov spending, market with basic guardrails but not too much.

EJ Dionne definition of center

Dionne wrote in his book Why Americans Hate Politics, published on the eve of the 1992 presidential election, that he believes American voters are looking for a "New Political Center" that intermixes "liberal instincts" and "conservative values". He labelled people in this centre position as "tolerant traditionalists". He described them as believers in conventional social morals that ensure family stability, as tolerant within reason to those who challenge those morals and as pragmatically supportive of government intervention in spheres such as education, child care and health care, as long as budgets are balanced.

Barely. Many expected him to win by more.

If there were actually a red wave this year I think Mantovani could have won. To me his party switching seemed like craven political opportunism but to at least some in the County it gave him an air of being above partisanship.
