RIP Montgomery Bank Towerwabash wrote:A community bank wanting to build a simplistic grey glass condo tower on a prominent corner in Downtown Clayton. Why does that sound so familiar....
A good bet is that where the County's new admin headquarters will go to replace the current buildingstlgasm wrote: ↑Dec 08, 2021Too bad this can't get built on the big surface lot across the street
^The garage pictured above wouldn't be demoed, but the buildings to the west of it would.urban_dilettante wrote: ↑Dec 08, 2021wait... so they're demolishing all of this for a goddamned parking podium with a massive blank wall facing Carondelet? how are these people so utterly f*cking clueless? at least the garage pictured below has an interesting design and only occupies half the street wall. Clayton is really struggling to get it right with their new construction.
I'm confused by the quote then.quincunx wrote: ↑Dec 09, 2021270 apartments, not bedrooms
Did they provide any more specifics on the retail? There seem to be differing reports/rumors on whether it's multiple retail tenants or just a bank branch w/ATM access. The rendering doesn't show any entrances, signage, awnings, or other indications of storefronts along Bemiston (or Carondelet), other than the corner entrance assumedly for Sterling.quincunx wrote: ↑Dec 09, 2021Indeed, I asked for clarity, and they said 270 apartments.
